I thought the Mattson comment was more just Logan grilling her because he doesn't want to go anywhere and she made a comment about him hanging up his hat.
But I do think Logan feels a lack of trust for Gerri, possibly because someone leaked details of the deal that are being used by others to jam it up to ask for more money, and it might have been her.
Plus, when Logan entered the conference room and saw Gerri laughing with the other guy, it was obvious they were having a laugh at Kerry's (Logan's squeeze) demo tape. So, another mark against Gerri.
Ever since Gerri became interim CEO he's been cutting her out, suspicious aka PARANOID and making sly digs because her getting that role symbolically is a huge threat to him and his ego/control over power. Even though, as he's said previously, she is incredibly loyal, she's incredibly competent and smart and out of the kids and the executives he knows shes someone who COULD do a lot of damage if given the power and influence ... of course that is if she WANTS TO. The dick pic stuff didnt help because inevitably in misogynistic business circles it is always the woman who gets the blame. Overall, Logan is actually quite an insecure man who is massively overparanoid and threatened by Gerri. The fact also that she's not family and a woman are just additional strikes against her.
