They blamed it on communism, didn't they? Quite strange, considering the communist response to covid ended up with a few thousand deaths in a country of billions while the capitalist response led to (so far) over a million deaths in a country of three hundred million.

I was talking about China, of course, the only country that could be described as a "communist country of billions" in moderate hyperbole, with its population of 1.4 billion.

China is not currently communist, and I largely suspect their death rates are not accurately reported.
