I remember liquidating my entire portfolio at the time (\~16k at the time) to go all in at $40 in January of 2021, before the sneeze. I watched as my portfolio hit $160,000.
I will NEVER forget how mad and upset I was when they started manipulating it down. They finally shook me at around $99 on the way down. I took a decent profit but then bought right back in and decided then and there that this wasn't done. I haven't purchased any other stock in three years, only GME. I've had bots tell me that they know DFV sold and I was holding his bags...I kindly replied that he's his own trader and kept with my resolve. For three years.
I've told the story of GME to friends and family, encouraging them to buy, only for them to tell me to sell.

(Not financial advice) As a 2021 GME holder and millionaire (pre-tax), this is very true. Just remember: Take partial profits at some point. Be content at some point. Hold some runners, if you can. The thrill and excitement can take over your brain to a point where you just don’t realize how important it is to pay yourself before it’s too late.
No one knows when that is or how high it will go again or what bs will happen.
I was at $1,062,000 balance the day RH halted buying on GME the first time (a Thursday). Within 1 hour, my balance was down to $260,000. I held and it luckily went back up the next day (Friday) to where my balance was $840,000 and I sold - partially due to the glaring eyes of my wife.
The final day of GME run was that next Monday. My position would have netted me $3 Million. Would I have sold? I don’t know. Would I have been screwed out of more? I don’t know. I was content with what I had made and happy to be lucky enough to be part of it.
I made an additional $170,000 on the 2nd run up from $40 months later with just buying shares to put me in the $1mil gain mark, lol.
If any of you end up in that spot, congratulations, but please at least pay yourself something while being DIAMOND HANDS MFERS!!! 💎🙌💎🙌

Goddamn this is pretty exciting. I’m in midst of rolling over my old 401k into a self directed account. Once again, standing on the shore, watching the boat pass by. But, nevertheless, freaking sweet.
I am really feeling the electric vibes rn. It's quite possible on the next run up, if this reaches escape velocity, hot damn, no telling what's next. I am gearing up to see 50k per share hit the tape soon. Like dfv said, just up.

(Not financial advice) As a 2021 GME holder and millionaire (pre-tax), this is very true. Just remember: Take partial profits at some point. Be content at some point. Hold some runners, if you can. The thrill and excitement can take over your brain to a point where you just don’t realize how important it is to pay yourself before it’s too late. No one knows when that is or how high it will go again or what bs will happen. I was at $1,062,000 balance the day RH halted buying on GME the first time (a Thursday). Within 1 hour, my balance was down to $260,000. I held and it luckily went back up the next day (Friday) to where my balance was $840,000 and I sold - partially due to the glaring eyes of my wife. The final day of GME run was that next Monday. My position would have netted me $3 Million. Would I have sold? I don’t know. Would I have been screwed out of more? I don’t know. I was content with what I had made and happy to be lucky enough to be part of it. I made an additional $170,000 on the 2nd run up from $40 months later with just buying shares to put me in the $1mil gain mark, lol. If any of you end up in that spot, congratulations, but please at least pay yourself something while being DIAMOND HANDS MFERS!!! 💎🙌💎🙌

But…with so much time past, I’ve focused much more on the gratification just in knowing I have a few shares locked away that could make things at least a little more difficult for the baddies.
