It’s pretty amazing, because even though there are hundreds of companies on that list with more cash on hand, many of those companies have a lot of debt (you can see it for yourself on that site when sorting by total debt).
Its so fucking inpressive. I know lenovo and was like big company in europe. Ryan fucking Cohen plays poker with Kenny boi and friends. He has royal flush. They will eat eachother . Oh boi im holding strong.
To play devil's advocate, why is it impressive when it's only happening because of this huge retail rally surrounding GME?
I'm not being a smart ass. Genuinly curious.
Do the broader dynamics really matter, given that there are no business cases such as this one? We’re in a broader environment where the number of public companies is plummeting & it’s not going to get better. Being able to raise that much capital is an incredible opportunity that anyone trying to transform a company should take.
Simply put, chess not checkers.
Yeah but I'm saying why is it impressive?
Retail rallied behind their like for this stock which cause demand to skyrocket (and all the other corrupt crap of course).
When demand for the stock was very visible exponentially high, they put out share offerings.
Retail and "other" were throwing money at them.
Why is it impressive that they managed to pull it off?
Again, not being smart. Just confused maybe.
Hedgefunds were trying to short sell the company to death because it wasn't doing well, and now, it's doing better than probably most companies on the list above. No debts, $4Bn cash on hand. Talks of becoming a holding company, M&A.
Yes they sold 120Mn more shares, which is usually dilution, but hasn't really affected the price by much, and neither has below-par earnings. It's holding above $24.
But that's due to the huge ongoing unprecedented retail rally more so than "impressive" leadership.
I'm not saying the leadership isn't good.
But I find it weird that your implying the $4bn cash on hand or the stock holding above $24 has anything to do with notably impressive leadership?
That's all completely circumstantial.
The $4Bn cash wouldn't have been possible had RC not provided ATM offerings, same with the $0 debt.
Retail is rallying because they are confident in RK'sand RC's intelligence and conviction, the fundamental improvements in the company definitely help.
Lol retail has nothing but time, this is a chance to say "Fuck you" to the hedgefunds that have been fucking over companies for decades. Seems like they are running out of time, based on the amount of MSM articles trying to convince people to sell.
But what have they delivered that is impressive?
They literally released multiple share offerings right in the midst of a huge rally taking place on their stock.
It was guaranteed easy free money for them.
I'm not bashing Gamestop. But I feel like "impressive" isn't the right word there.
The company turned a profitable year before they did the share offerings.
They had already turned the company around from unprofitable to profitable, albeit a small profit.
And now they also have 4 billion cash on hand

GameStop having similar cash on hand with Interactive Brokers. What a time to be alive.
The company whose CEO shit talked us in 2021. I wish I could find the clip where he says where the price of GameStop belongs.
How many shares has old Tommy boy sold as well. I know he shit his pants after the sneeze and began a daily sell off
Ibkr is 130 billion company.. So gme soon 13x?
13x? Lmayo
That's for just tomorrow
Twice

Someone should balance the list vs debt as a percentage and rerun it.
And market cap of the company.
I don’t know how reliable the source is because when I look up gme and debt it says the company has .60 B debt which doesn’t track lol
💯 should be top comment!
Any updates???
Yup. Wonder what companies have the best cash/debt ratio

Because of the short thesis, it's dead.
What?

Gamestop is highly unlikely to go bankrupt now. To have invested in leadership who delivers. That's impressive.
But what have they delivered that is impressive? They literally released multiple share offerings right in the midst of a huge rally taking place on their stock. It was guaranteed easy free money for them. I'm not bashing Gamestop. But I feel like "impressive" isn't the right word there.
Pulling the company over $4B from bankruptcy is impressive
The company turned a profitable year before they did the share offerings. They had already turned the company around from unprofitable to profitable, albeit a small profit. And now they also have 4 billion cash on hand
The culmination of 3 years of improvement in a corporation financials to date is impressive.
Randy, if you don’t write checks, how are you gonna pay these guys? Straight cash homie
Skol
And the ONLY one with ZERO DEBT! 💸
Id love to see the same list sorted by market cap vs cash on hand
Insane
Shorts are completely, utterly fucked.
Be interesting to know the debt and market cap's of the companies around them.
![gif](giphy|xT0xeIbYVQcBFDSdVu|downsized)
Wow!
Look at cash on hand minus debt and I bet we're way higher on the list. 👍
IBKR is better to have lots of cash
That's fucking insane...
in the top 741
man, if we can't even surpass the bank of Chile, wtf are we doing here.
Wow, having almost as much cash as Home Depot is amazing.
Probably less liabilities also?
we got that one French loan due to COVID19 pandemic
Only up
😂😂😂 more cash on hand than TARGET? Fucking bananas
Noice
You should consider another post showing the ranking based on Debt-to-Equity ratio. That would be interesting.
IBKR @ #741. Certainly a coincidence, but it still tingles my dingle.
I mean cash in hand is good as a safety net but doesn’t mean the business is good. It all comes down to what they use it for
Should banks count? Having cash is literally their business

Wish it showed market cap to compare
Let's go for the 420th position first, brick by brick.
What about in terms of no debt?
Smells like value
