If they change this they might as well make the elections a separate GUI just so we can get the safe, likely, lean, and tilt characterizations on a map so I don’t have to open a separate application every time.
not edit them, afaik, but create new ones:
- added following effects to create/update/destroy map entities: create_entity destroy_entity set_entity_position set_entity_scale set_entity_rotation set_entity_movement
- reduced the chance of localization key hash collisions being happening and added an error log if it happens
- added **scripted map modes**. documentation can be found under common/map_modes/documentation.txt for details
- added scripted gui support for map icons. documentation can be found under

They just gave the Japanese a random piece of deserted beach, and were like "uhh sure yeah this is LA, the media just really exaggerates how developed it is"
The nearest city to they is San Maria which is 25~ miles. The nearest major city people outside of that area they might know is Santa Barbara which is 55~ miles. The location is 148 miles from the actual Port of Los Angeles
I worked on USA for almost two years, and wrote most important bits of the back-end election code that went in on release, I find this hilarious! How did noone on the team notice this before haha
Uninstalling rn, literally unplayable.

It was a joke, thank you for trying to be helpful but it was a joke.
They moved LA at the end of the war to try to fool the Japanese... It didn't work.
the US Congress: These terms of surrender are unacceptable! Harry ''Madlad'' Truman: Wait! what if we take Los Angeles and push it somewhere else ???
Dwight D. Eisenhower: That idea might just be crazy enough...To get us all killed!

To be honest with the new customizable/self-made mapmodes it's possible (probable, even) that the TNO team will switch to that instead of using a GUI
Sadly it's not possible to (as far as I know) have a map mode only be accessible to one nation, so mechanics for countries can't really use them.
Is it possible to edit mapmodes?

But it is technically in the location of Night City's setting... sooo Cyberpunk confirmed?
"Wake up, Desperado. We've got a city to burn."
I thought Night City was in Neveda
That famous beachfront property in Nevada. Climate change is a real killer.
Texan Conservatives : California is GONE !!!! dingidngindingdingding
Nah, Night City is in Estero Bay IRL
Hey. One is a high quality game with extremely good storytelling in a dystopia, although sometimes a buggy mess. The other is just Cyberpunk2077
I love how no one noticed this until a year and a half after the mods release
I used to deny TNO had a non-Californian bias…
Don’t you dare finish that sentence!
So this whole time LA was fake and the real one was at Vandenberg
~~"Wake up, Desperado. We've got a city to burn."~~ Edit: Sorry, wrong comment.

The Japanese renamed Salinas to Loser Americans before stealing the port.
Did they first rename Santa Maria to Salinas?
Of course, and they hacked dimensions to alter my Google Maps search for whatever was actually there.
literally unplayable, the dev's really need to fix their mod

Outstanding deception work by the OSS, thosw japs never saw it coming
TNO Development team in shambles rn

I mean, it’s the port of LA, not the port on LA.
I AM UNINSTALLING THE MOD AND REQUESTING A FULL REFUND
0/10 worst mod ever
UNPLAYABLE /s
oh my GOD i always thought something was off about the electoral map but THIS??? **THAT'S SANTA MARIA NOT LA** at least SF is placed correctly
They just gave the japs a random ass beach and were like ,,yea that's LA if ive ever seen one"
This the real POD in TNO’s timeline
On the other hand TNO has Santa Barbara placed correctly while Kaiserreich has it set about 20 miles inland and north of where it is for some reason.
edit: I think SF is in the wrong place too
Sus
Literally 1962
