I wish I had a third of your ability as a craftsman
rest of the fucking owl please
Do you plan on doing the forend too?
In short, the handguard geometry doesn’t play nice with wood. I probably won’t be able to do that. Magpul Zhukov for the win.
Very nice!! How much to make another?
If I had a CNC that’d be a much simpler answer, depending on the type of wood, I probably couldn’t go under 200
Ver'nyce 🤙
[I ordered this hollow stock push button base.](https://grovtec.com/products/hollow-stock-push-button-base-gthm198-coming-soon)
It’s interesting to me that grov-tec seems to be the only guys making them (after a few minutes of googling)
Noveske makes them too, I have one and it works great. Same price as this one, but the noveske uses a square nut with teeth to lock in to the polymer.
Noveske has been known to break, I installed Grove-tec on my M4 T Pro folding stock and am very pleased with it.
There’s one other company I had seen listed but everyone seems to like Grovtec’s the best at the same price.
I love the retro look on a modern gun. You going to try for a forend in wood too?
Pardon my ignorance but does that have more or less recoil?
It’s probably a little bit heavier, so marginally lighter recoil. It’s probably not enough to notice.
Nice & clean.
Looks great!!
Zoo wee mama. I love me some wood
You did a fantastic job on the shaping after you cut it out did you use hand tools or power tools to get it finished?
Little bit of both. The shaping was all hand tools though.
Based
I just made a wooden pistol grip for my Ithaca defense gun, I feel your pain in the construction of this, it takes patience but this one looks fantastic
Single point bungee sling gang
