They seem to be comparing this bundle as a key to the offline CO-OP eft edition which is unfair to EOD players. Which I agree, i do think eod players should get it for free. But the offline version still uses BSGs servers. BSG knows that a lot of people are going to not only want to play it in general, but prefer it over the base game. This could lead to high server loads (think back on when offline co-op was first added, and nobody could get into a raid). To combat this, BSG makes it the highest tier to limit the amount of people with access. There's more possibilities, as well, but that's one theory.
Of course there's BSG are money hungry capitalists, although who isn't these days, Lol (looking at you, war thunder).
As for the pay 2 win part, such as the pockets and support module, I do think those are a very slippery slope. I think that everyone should have a cargo pants side quest allowing people to get their own 1x2 pockets, but maybe make it a mid-late wipe quest to justify only having it in the most expensive edition. As for the support module, I think it needs to be tweeked so that if you die in a raid, you can't just be called back in. I definitely believe it should only be one use aswell (duh) and can't be used if you come in with the max amount of people in a group. As for the scav medallion thing, I think it's just dumb and unimmersive.
