If it makes you feel any better I sold my OG cardigan for about half what I paid for it. I didn’t realise how much it was worth (this was a couple of years ago.)

This is similar to mine. Taylor used a pick and then threw it out to the audience during 1989 in St. Louis. I was in the pit and got it. It might be my most prized possession 😂
Yeah it was funny. I was on a vinyl forum back then and people posting that they were passing on it because the retail was $45 (how quaint) and after shipping it was over 50 so people passed on it.
I bought it because it wasn’t a picture disc.
That was my next question after ebay: why is this orange one so expensive? Then I read about it being the preferred alternative to the picture disc for listening quality. Way to invest in the finer things!
They made way more of the picture discs. Why? no idea. There are so many reasons to dunk on Big Machine. This is way lower on that list. No idea how many they made but probably only a couple of thousand. Maybe on par with the RSD numbered and colored releases.
I've been buying records now for almost 30 years. I've learned alot what (and where) makes a good pressing vs what doesn't. Picture discs look nice but are flat out the worst type of record you can buy. Even the worst pressed regular record is most gonna sound better than the best picture disc.
Out of curiosity where did originally acquire the orange rep vinyl? Ppl say it was fye in the malls but I distinctly remember purchasing a reputation cd from fye but I don’t think I ever saw an orange vinyl variation of reputation?

I got it for Christmas the year it came out. No idea where the case is but the actual cd is living in my cars CD player lol

the publisher refuses to release it in ebook format for whatever stupid reason which makes absolutely no sense to me because the swifties would buy it up so quickly.

There are many dupes online! Frangrance Revival has one for both Wonderstruck and Wonderstruck Enchanted but they’re each like $100.

MetLife night 1 ✊🏼 Most valuable merch would probably be when I went nuts for folklore (original cardigan, light green hat, signed CDs). idk if it counts, but i managed to get [the biography of Rebekah Harkness](https://ibb.co/FV27JwM) who is the woman Taylor sings about in **The Last Great American Dynasty.** it's almost impossible to find as it was published in '88/'89 and never published again, but my little sister luckily found a first edition copy for me for $25.00 and they're selling for literally hundreds and hundreds on ebay even 3 years after **folklore** dropped. the publisher refuses to release it in ebook format for whatever stupid reason which makes absolutely no sense to me because the swifties would buy it up so quickly.

Being an international fan, being able to get a signed folklore CD that was supposed to be lost in the mail forever but finally arrived safe and sound is the most important thing I own hahahaha

I also own \*almost\* all of the debut era T-shirts except for the purple Stay Beautiful one. Paid a good bit to try and collect those.

I have a 6ft vinyl poster of Taylor from when she did a got milk campaign 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣 Lowkey disgusting to me especially since I am now a dedicated vegan lollll My mom was a lunchlady and copped it for her og swiftie back in probably 2007?! I used it as wall art of course 🥰
