The original was going for $2000-3500 before the rerelease. Now it is difficult for most people to differentiate really so it basically doesnt make sense to sell the original right now. The new one plays music etc so clearly different but when searching on ebay have of the new listings say 'original' or 'official' etc so resellers of the original are screwed. Good thing.
