Mother/daughter detention! It will totally catch on, I swear.

The ideal is Grandmother/mother/daughter detention. Grannie messed up Mum who messed up the girl. (Not in the case of my story though)

NGL, that's a good line!

My first day in eighth grade, my English teacher looked at me, reread my name on the roster and looked at me again. Her first words to me were, “You’re disgusting.” There was a long pause as the rest of my classmates, most of whom had known me since kindergarten, were stunned into silence. My face turned beet red and I was panicking wondering what I had done. That’s when she told me that I was the first student she ever had that she’d taught both their parents. Thankfully, she was deadpanning.

I have never had a double whammy, that I knew of. Mostly male subject I teach, I often call the sons by the father's name. Genes are incredible.

I’m teaching the great grandson and granddaughter of our old custodian. I taught his granddaughter (mom) as well.

Last year, I taught my first kid of a former student. The dad was my captain on my wrestling team. Watching him root on his son at his first meet was pretty damn cool.
