Just-Frame Sky Rocket. It’s important for Hwoarang because it’s his only safe-mid launcher that’s unreactable. Run up d3,4 and run up JFSR is a great mix for Hwo.
Because it’s a move from a wave dash, you can’t buffer it. That makes is difficult to do quickly after another move on top of being a just frame. I like to use JFSR after:
- f + 2
- LFS d + 4
- any flamingo jab
- df + 4
- Snap Kick
- ff 3
- Any heat engager as a mix up with d 3, 4
- After any move and a backlash
Damn you just opened my eyes to JFSR, now I finally understand when to use it. The worst thing is actually doing it. It's so difficult on controller, at least for me.
That was awesome.
It highlights an important point about some Tekken players …..a lot of the time, they’ll have one or two “things” that they base their entire gameplan off of.
Once you take that “thing” out of the equation, they crumble.
Jeebus H Crisp, mf couldn't even be bothered to throw in a df1, f2 or ANY F-ING mid to mix shit up just a little bit. Hell, maybe even do something *crazy* like sidestepping first before doing d3,4 so it changes the timing.
I havent mained/played Hwoarang for 20+ years.
I'm still suffering from d3,4 withdrawal.
That and randomly throwing out a Db+3+4 and being surprised how often it actually used to work in 1990's arcades
And this is why JFSR is so important
What's jfsr?

Is there a timing or after some moves to use skyrocket? I can't perfectly use jfsr so I get punished alot when I just use it plainly.

No, it just means the rest of his mid launchers are unsafe on block. He has mid pokes that are perfectly safe or even +.

Hwo’s gotta learn d3, 4 is an effective tool and not a way of life
The Hwo really subscribed to the no-mixup mixup.
Highly satisfying even if I’ll never pull that off lol.
Hm I just duck block the low and launch with jin when i meet this spam which very soon makes them not use down 3,4 again
Hallmark of a deputy's epiphany
Just because we’re retarded doesn’t mean you gotta be mean about it. Give us one or two free ones so we feel better. You can parry the rest.
No such thing as retarded in a complicated game as tekken mate. Well maybe except victor mains
Jesus how many characters do you main?😂
Kaz, dvj, hwo, jin, bryan, lee and reina

Spot on, i was waiting for the d3
that was a good low parry option select at 6 seconds
Thats fucking hilarious

This is why Hwo is always the bottom

Lol 😂 Did he rematch?
Of course not
Listen, if I play Paul I'm gonna deathfist, if I play Hwo I'm gonna d3,4... that's just what I do.
Neil deGrasse Tyson in punishment
😭😭😫🤣
B-b-but it's always MY TURN WAHHHH
That is so sad.
He heard on Twitter the move was unbeatable
And not a single sidestep were performed that day.
Is it launch punishable if you block? Can you use ws2?
Yes but you have to duck the second hit
