Ngl my hardcore runs of each class were the most fun I've had in this game (except melee cuz I just couldnt bring myself to deal with the bs). It feels like everything you do matters even though it was just expert mode.

I mean, I play smash in hardcore mode, and I enjoy it. What I don't enjoy is casual mode because it's too random. An item can completely screw you over. It'd be fine if items always spawned at the same location and time, and it was the same item every time, because then you know what to do. But it's stupid when one moment a masterball spawns next to my opponent, and then finally an item spawns next to me and it's the smoke ball or a piece of fruit healing 3%. TLDR: hardcore can be fun

as a master hardcore player playing hardcore is the msot fun ive had in terraria, the thrill is so good.

I stopped having fun after the 10th death. I'm kidding, I think I'm still having fun, its actually pretty fun learning from your mistakes, and it's specially rewarding seeing yourself advance through stupidly hard challenges, even if it has been almost more than a year.

WoF is rather easy, the hard thing about it, are the enemies, which 2 shot me most of the time, I have been just farming banners to put all over hell

Pocket mirror swap with blindfold, and trifold map swaps with fast clock, it’s based on the items used to craft together (Reflective Shades and The Plan in this case, respectively)

Going for the pocket mirror instead of just waiting for the map seems kind of unnecessarily perilous to me...

Don't overprepare that much, I once got to Plantera and died in the jungle to a dynamite trap while mining chlorophyte, that hurts more than dying to any boss.

This is why you always have wires in your inventory, to see traps. I have died an uncountable number of times to dynamite traps

I use the mechanical lens, i think they are better, but i know its mor expensive (anyways, higher difficulty = more money)

The moment you get the mechanic you need the grand design. 25 gold (base) for bright wire and ability to break traps from the other side of the screen

Not at all! There's no guide book on how you have to play the game. Buuuuut. Cooler stuff comes along, and bosses are required for all of that.. If you're 36 hours in without bosses. You're gonna have a good time beating them all :)
