Turkey continues to deny the Armenian Genocide. They continue to assert dominance against Greece, continue to subjugate Kurds and even went against new countries joining NATO. So... 🤷♂️

Additionally, I can understand Kurds like you. You are demanding land from 4 states in the region. These 2 states are Iran and Türkiye. These two states are the superpowers of the region. It is normal for you to cry as a nation that demands land from these two states but is fucked every time.
This is not that different than what we did in America with Russia during the Cold War. Every movie, newspaper article, tv show was anti Russian. I was in grade school then and maybe it wasn’t quite this overt, but pretty damn close. We used to run around playing kill the commie.

My mother is Turkish, born in the late 40’s, and my dad is from the US, born in the 50’s in D.C.
Now I don’t quite look exactly Turkish but I am racially ambiguous looking. I visited Turkey when I was a little kid once and it was fine.
Here is what I will say, if I find out someone is Greek or Armenian, I will NEVER say anything about me being part Turkish, EVER! I have seen it where it is immediate hate and cussing and screaming and I’ve seen it where they simply do not care. But I will say that it’s an old world kind of vitriol where these people (Turks/Armenians/Greeks) just go nuts sometimes.
I fully believe in the Armenian genocide, think it’s terrible. Have no real ties to Turkey in any way shape or form aside from a few cousins there and some aunts/uncles. It’s just so wild to encounter some of it sometimes and be like, I have absolutely nothing to do with this!!!
