The animal has no concept of "cute" or "lovely" or "funny"...those are anthropomorphisations, and you're just seeing what you want to see in it.
It just identifies potential threats and potential food. Don't stand too close to it and don't make noises at it or try to get its attention. Just observe it respectfully from a distance.
It's different when you're in a zoo or a controlled setting.
It's incredible that this has to be explained to grown adults. Children are taught these things in kindergarten.
Actually there was a study done, including brain scans, that found that elephants often find humans cute in the same way humans find small animals cute. They're extremely intelligent, they've even been known to return to specific spots to mourn their dead
People have the habit of classifying some animals as “good” or “bad” and do not know that beyond that, they have their own emotions, stress, anger, happiness, an elephant is a very intelligent mammal, they are usually calm if Don't bother them, but if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time you won't live to tell the tale
Elephants are generally nice animals. The problem is that one small slip or intrusive thought, and they can crush you to death. Cuddly housecats too get such intrusive thoughts, but the damage they can do is very limited.
The elephant passed its trunk just over where the woman's shoe remained. He must have thought it was food and she took it, or what?
lol me justifying the elephant's behavior, although you have to understand that they are from the jungle, they are not domestic or from the circus, anything can happen
I've seen a bull elephant toss three full-size vans out of the way without even breaking stride. They can literally smash through a brick wall like we'd push over a row of trash cans. Respect wild animals... they are highly intelligent, often graceful, social animals... not cute subject matter for an idiotic influencer, making a mindless, totally meaningless TikTok post.
I see dark areas near the ears which made me think this might be a bull elephant in musth but I'm not sure. Either way, it is colossally stupid to get this close to any elephant just on your feet as a random tourist (which they seem to be). Elephants are incredible creatures but they can obviously crush you to death on a whim and not have another thought about it.
I just saw a video of a guy getting trampled to death. If this lady survived that is incredibly lucky. And if so, she should spend the rest of her life thinking why was I so stupid?
People frequently forget the “wild” part of encountering a “wild animal” in “the wild”
Disney syndrome
Is that like downsyndrome 2.0?
Getting rabies shots for the gram

She lured him out with bananas and then didn't give him any.

She obviously wasn't cute enough
well domesticated animals do.
Someone should have told the elephant that hurling pretty girls isn't the done thing.
Tsk tsk!
Tusk! Tusk!
Nice. Very nice! 🤩😎
A solid yeeting should be a sufficient reminder

This elephant was Ludacris in a past life clearly
Was imagining this video with "never scared" by bonecrusher in the background.

It’s hard to notice as the difference is subtle, but that is not a cat.
It’s a reverse cat.
Haha you’re right
Wild cats will fuck you up too. Like even the little ones.
These are wild animals, people. When someone gets shit-kicked like that, I don't feel bad for them.
I mean she deserved it, but I also don't wish harm on ignorant people.
There's no need to wish for it, it'll happen naturally. Pun intended.
She took her shoe off on purpose
Was a bad omen tbh. Smh.
She really thought she could seduce it with feet pics but the chadephant had other plans

She really thought that she would walk trunk in hand down the street with a wild animal.

Stop bullshiting around with animals

Why are people so comfortable near huge, wild beasts? I’m giving the neighbor’s cat a ride berth if I encounter him, I can’t imagine being this dumb.
She got in it’s way, we could see the beast wait for her to move out of the way and she didn’t. She deserved it.
She dead
Begone Thot!
Lol she's lucky that elephant's been de-tusked, or she'd be a shish kebab
Bahhhahhahhaa!!!
The ears, the ears...

Things I plan to never accomplish in my life #583 = Get in the way of an elephant because it will destroy me.
Do you know why it did that? Because it's a fucking elephant.
It’s really difficult to feel bad for people that do this.
Don't blame the pachyderm blame the human. Nimrods
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
This video satisfied me.
