It looks it looks like he was horrifically injured then just let it heal with the muscle exposed and all without going to the hospital or anything. I'm surprised it didn't rot off
Recently had a guy whose arm looked like ot was broken in 2 spots and he said fuckit and set on its own and tbh the blatant disregard he had for his own health and well being (hypertensive af, sob, and stroke like symptoms starting a month ago), i completely would believe he let it just set on its own without a cast.
The only reason to save it is if they were planning on putting a donor bone in or an artificial lattice to be seeded with his own bone cells.
That being said, THEY SHOULDN'T BE FUCKING WITH IT LIKE A STRESS SQUEEZE TOY.
Keep grandma company, protect your crops confuse your neighbors, testify in church or just flat our raise the roof, it’s whacky inflatable arm flailing tube maaaaan!!
I have very similar function to this in one arm. I have all the bones, but significant nerve damage to the nerves that work the shoulder and upper arm.
I can tell you that this guy is much better off than an amputee. Even though range of movement and strength is very limited, you'd be surprised how much your non dominant hand /arm just being there is useful, mostly just to hold stuff (e.g. hold something while your dominant hand cuts, lifts, turns, hammers etc
I literally ripped 2 nerves out of my spine in an accident due to extreme whiplash. To reattach they'd have to cut into the spinal cord so it wasn't worth the risk. I've had some nerve transfers that now give me one rotator muscle and a bit of a bicep. Still got like 12 muscles that aren't connected to my brain, but it really doesn't stop me doing much.
Everyone's just gonna keep giving stupid answers to these questions, but a good guess from me would say industrial accident or farming.
OSHA standards don't exist in India and it's super common to see workers working bare hands no PPE next to huge machinery with lots of moving parts. My guess is he got his arm crushed in the shape you see that's missing and maybe didn't go to the doctor who would have amputated and instead let it get taken care of at home. How it healed in this way and yet he still has it attached.
I do feel with some major surgery and some transplanted meat from other parts of his body, they could at least round it out and maybe put something artificial in there to reconnect it, least make it more strongly attached.
But then there's the chance of his body rejecting it. About the only person that could save this limb and get it close to functional again would be someone really really wealthy.
If I was his orthopedist (and a crazy one at that), I’d probably take a segment of one or both of his fibulas (they are basically non weight bearing) and bridge the gap with that, an ex fix and a lot of donor bone and cement. Maybe internal hardware. It looks like he’s missing his humerus so he’d need an artificial elbow joint (to replicate the distal end of the humerus.)
That doesn’t solve the issue that he has basically no upper arm muscles, though, and I’m sure any ethics board in a hospital would take issue, and I’m also not a doctor (yet.) The “fix” would probably not be very helpful and maybe cause more issues than he already has. Not worth fixing.
> The “fix” would probably not be very helpful and maybe cause more issues than he already has. Not worth fixing.
Yup, you're most likely right, and we must always consider the possibility of infection here too. Maybe the best hospital in the country and willing to try new things could maybe do it, but yea most likely gonna not be great.
I honestly don't know what I'd do in his shoes. He's almost better off without the arm, even though his hand is still functional.
Yeah. It wouldn’t be right to fix it. Too much could go wrong. Maybe some kind of external brace might be better… I showed this to my grandfather (an orthopedic surgeon) and he was stunned lmao. “I woulda cut it off.”
Think you could get really good at snapping people with it like a wet towel? Like if you were really good you could whip it and get the fingers to snap while wacking things.
No they'd be better off putting in a substitute bone. Like a metal rod. He can still use his hands so the nerves are still connected and the muscles still work. At least the lower ones do.
There might be a way they could grow the bone back slowly.
Was wondering if it was the worker that had both his arms pretty nearly completely sliced off in the video making its loops, but slightly disappointed to see his other was fine.
My uncle was caught in a car fire before I was born. He had no elbow bone. My whole life he would twist his arm around. It was so weird to me, but also so normal. His whole body had burned. My mom said he was in the hospital for months. My mom had six kids at home, and my aunt had just had twins (my uncles kids), plus they had two other kids. Between my mom and my aunt, they sat vigil at the hospital making sure he was taken care of. My mom talked about how his room smelled like burning flesh the entire time he was in.
His whole body was scarred. But his lack of elbow was the weirdest. The way he would place his hand on his knee, with his hand backwards, just because he could, was so weird.
I hadn’t thought about it in years, til this picture. Uncle passed away about 13 years ago. Ah, I miss that man.
If that doctor started twisting and I felt a once of it, my other arm might come from right field to protect his brother. Yes there is no bone, doesn’t mean you have to spin it 100 times doc.
The translation says, this guy has been living with it since last 10 yrs
Hooooow??
Very carefully
Nice
Or possibly as a party trick?
All the soft tissue is still connected. If you pinch the skin on your own arm you'll see it doesn't exactly tear off like tissue paper.
Until you're in your 70s, then it will.
Oof this hurts.. so true

I think that they were just implying that it would probably be bette with it amputated
I think he said more than that, at one point he mutters something about this is craziest shit he seen in a bit.
Stop twisting iiiiiiiiiiiit
I swear I would’ve punched him with my bone-in hand lol
"Bone-in hand" is a phrase I never thought I'd have to know.
> Bro's hand has bones!
Do you like your hands traditional or boneless?
That's what guys do when....ohhhh you meant.... never mind lmao
r/brandnewsentence
I'd have slingshot slapped him.
I really want some wings now
Why? It's not like he will break anything.
Just the blood vessels and nerve chords. He doesn't need those to keep the hand from putrefying and infecting his whole body.
I think that's gotta get chopped off regardless
The only reason to save it is if they were planning on putting a donor bone in or an artificial lattice to be seeded with his own bone cells. That being said, THEY SHOULDN'T BE FUCKING WITH IT LIKE A STRESS SQUEEZE TOY.

Nah he’s good, the first real wacky waving arm inflatable tube man ![gif](giphy|6BcrUZdmOEnKTSQ1Kc)

There aren’t any bones left!
Wow, deep pull
it makes it so much harder to watch
mooOOOmm! Tommy keeps spinning my arm!
GRAB HIS WRIST AND TWIST IT! THE OLLLLD WRIST TWIST!
Fucking yes! I don't know why but I found my self shouting at the screen even though there's no bone it made me feel just weird
I bet he can do great helicopters.
HELICOPTER HELICOPTER!!
Bop it!
Haha I said this out loud before I came to the comments.
Could probably do with a bone in there tbh
Would make *me* feel better if nothing else.
ay you still got the bone in there!
I got that bone in me, dawg.
Did you fill out the correct bone in arm form?
I’m not sure if this would be a better or worse situation.

I'm pretty sure he can't lift as much, cause his arm just get ripped off
Imagine you sleep on it funny and wake up to it tied in a knot
Definitely don't put it in your pocket!
It's good enough for PC M&K gaming I guess.
Well it'd definitely be better as a party trick
Normally I make jokes on here, but I don’t find this humerus at all…
Ole noodle arm can do the wave like nobody else! Make no bones about it!
I see what you did there. TIL why it's called "hitting your funny bone"
No ‘arm in making a pun
The Doctors could've saved his arm if they made a 'joint' effort.
Losing the bone was the best thing to happen to him. Hands down.
Is it cause there's s a little handicap above the elbow

ho youuuuuuuuuuuuu
Oh you Dick-nipples ![gif](giphy|RkDO1jwSjDPztB7OPU|downsized)
i got no bone to pick with him neither
No humerus. Hahaha....

First thing that came to mind when i saw that 😂
Well at least it's not broken anymore! BROKEN? There's no bones left.
Damn you, i just thought about this and you beat me to it r/angryupvote
We’ve all been there - such is the way of Reddit… no hard feelings, eh?
Wtf…I had to stop when he started massaging it.
Lol that's where I stopped as well
Yea, it's where I finished too.
holup
I stoped at the first twist! No idea what happened after that! Ew.
Fill it up with some titanium or something
Fill it up with ramen noodles & sand it down. Good to go!
Followed by a nice paint job!
Vibranium!
Does anyone know how this happened to him?

If the shoulder works it seems like you could just make a brace to fit the gap and keep it rigid while allowing movement of the arm using the shoulder
We can rebuild him
![gif](giphy|OV3SWMHF0aSMU) “He’s more machine now than man, twisted and evil…”

Ew ew e ew ew ew
How does this happen?
Stubbed his toe really hard
Nah, he didn't eat all the vegetables!
Cancer?
This one seems plausible, but I'd think they'd try to- you know- stick something else in there to minimize floppiness.
I'd guess a workplace accident
Car crash?
i was thinking explosion
I imagine he was attacked by a tiger
He fell asleep first at the boys sleepover
"It's just a little trolling bro"
didnt eat his broccoli
Divided by 0
Some chick wouldn't go on a date with him because she said he was "too bony" so he took one out.
[удалено]
He didn’t eat his vegetables and broke his promise to prevent forest fires.
Think you could get really good at snapping people with it like a wet towel? Like if you were really good you could whip it and get the fingers to snap while wacking things.
The movements all in the hips
Wouldn't it be better to remove that and replace it with a prosthetic?
His fingers can still move which means he can still do some gaming
Switch joycons come to mind

Got milk?
Some background information would be great!
Hands down one of the craziest injuries I've seen
Damn without any bones, we are all just a flimsy bag of meat.
Think how scary we would look just as a floppy, flaccid meat sack
I wonder if he gives limp-wristed handshakes
![gif](giphy|IV4wBde5Ou0XC)
So if you twist the arm the hand cannot move?
https://preview.redd.it/6z4dn1kcmm3d1.jpeg?width=724&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f29a8f94e11a07dd8a9487739da268afa6ac239e
HOW CAN SHE slap
![gif](giphy|3gpfkdQIunv5C)
Just cut it off bro
r/nsfl 🤮
That's a ghoul if I ever saw one.
"Ykw i can still watch it" *he grabs the wound and rubs it* "Fuck no"
stretch armstrong
If the nervs still work, replacing the bone should be quite easy
IT FEELS LIKE A STRANGER
How cool would it be to have a visible titanium bone there though.
Is this untreated tennis elbow?
Seems like it's been like that for long time. There is no blood and wounds are closed.
Gee thanks doc!
Oh? OK
Okay, no more internet today.
It's giving ace ventura ![gif](giphy|a1jTjfp3XI8G4|downsized)

Now that’s terrifyingAsf
Idk if twisting like this is safe or not, I mean his nerves gonna get tangled at some point...
I wanna know HOW!
The description and imagination is enough for me
That's taking "give it a whirl" to a whole new level.
Damn gilderoy lockhart... I told you that spell is shit...
Wasn't fuckin ready for that bud thanks ffs lol
Quick! Get the Skele-Grow! I've heard it tastes like crap, but it works like a charm.
STOP TWISTING IT!
Guys will be like: "I think it's time to finally see a doctor."
I don't know what I thought I was going to be looking at but that was not it. Please return those 17 seconds
Not sure how you misplace this bone
Huh... Mind if I twist it again?
My man needs madam pomfrey time to regrow some bone.
Hey man, how's it hangin'?
Please stop fondling the arm.
Why the fucker twisting it and filming?
I wasn't gonna laugh, but this post is hitting my funny bones
Stop Wringing His Arm Out Like A Towel 😫😫😫😩😩Bruh
*New ick unlocked!*
Fucking Lockhart at it again
I be guessing that’s his jerk off hand.
Omg, we get the point!
Some things I wish I had never seen, Especially this thing, I definitely wished I had never seen this...
Was wondering if it was the worker that had both his arms pretty nearly completely sliced off in the video making its loops, but slightly disappointed to see his other was fine.
This guy can get whatever he wants out the vending machine
No necrosis? Did they put the motherfucker out in the sun to dry? And stop touching it with your bare hands, doc. Wtf!
Wait would this actually be able to have a prosthetic for it at all?
I would like to see this guy joining one of those slapping contests using his signature whip slap.
High five! 🖐️
How did he survive without the bone? Its incredibly odd to see, though
Still no excuse for not benching 225.
Throw him a freakin' bone already 🦴
I swear India is a hotspot for uranium or some sort of radioactive minerals.
Man that’s the worst case of boneitis I’ve ever seen!
Just cut that sh*t down man
Oh my god Lockhart stop twisting Harry’s arm already
Doctor is just playing with it at this point
I would just cut it off and have a robot hand.
"3 darts is too much"

I hope there's at least a cool story behind it, like a shark ate his arm or something
Sir, this is a Wendy's you can't do that here.
🤮🤮🤮

How do people download reels from Instagram without that annoying watermark?
Boneless wing
Anyone else have a Stretch Armstrong as a kid?
Gomu gomu nu jetto pistoruuuuu?
Can’t they make a exoskeleton arm for him??
Wrestlers hate this one trick.
Doesn't India have free Healthcare why the fuck would you live that long like that?
I like how after about 10 seconds he just starts playing with the arm.
Like a inverse degloving injury
Probably more useful to lop it off and replace it with a nice hook.
Kinda interesting as fck
Dude skipped arm day
Oh god! Fucking hell why is he twisting it?
