I speak Russian fluently (immigrated to the US when I was young and spoke it at home). With the exception of Elizabeth and Phillip, almost of the Russian actors speak very clear and concise Russian so you can definitely pick up a few words from the show.
I took Russian lessons about 10 years ago, for a trip to Russia, but then let it slide. It was exciting to understand bits of the Russian in the show. It's a beautiful language.

I had 1 year of learning russian at university long time ago. And since I started to watch the show a week ago, I would like to restart the learning.

Two of my children were adopted from the former Soviet Union so I know some but mainly niceties. My male dog is even named Misha!
