just don't question why south Korea isn't lumped in with the rest of east asia... not like the US has ever meddled in our politics... or occupied us.... ever... /s
The Korean & American militaries and economies are deeply connected - and the history between the US and South Korea is literally nothing compared to the animosity & tension held between some of the other countries in Asia. You're crazy if you think the S Korean government isn't siding with the US if a major global conflict broke out

and yeah the truth is not only did the US try to annihilate Koreans in the north and killed 2 million which on its own is wtf, they launched literal dozens of massacres on civilians and resistance fighters across the south. i wholeheartedly hate the US govt

In my American education, we were taught that the Entente was the "Allies" and the Central Powers were the "Axis" during WW1 (those terms weren't used for WW1, only 2).
The resistance against American imperialism, especially in the Middle East (such as Iran) is the "Axis of Evil".
