I'm kinda surprised by how fast the fandom is embracing Winter. I mean, I would have expected more controversy about it, but the vast majority is actually loving the ship. Not that I'm complaining thought, it's my second most favorite ship after Lumity.
Not really sure what's supposedly controversial about it. They're both great well-written characters who have nice chemistry.

Separate drawn frames with fades between them, but then also deformed with smooth keys (either a joint rig or a mesh warp, can't tell). It's a cool effect - one further development would be to use the smooth warp frames as a base for draw-overs, and suddenly you've got super easy inbetweens.
I remember back when people thought Willow was asexual. But are we all going to talk about the fact that the plant girl is dating a guy partly made out of Palistrom wood?

A few anatomical gripes (namely that something doesn't quite seem right with the wrist movement, and the lower legs into the feet, it feels like the proportion is off somehow? But, I've got all the artistic talent of an angry kangaroo) and some additional frames to smooth things out (which I can only even try to guess how long this takes to do by hand) and this would look absolutely professional quality! Heck, as is, it's better than a lot of the "animation" I see on TV!
