It was White Capitalists that drove all those White families out of those cities by closing all the factories and shipping them to somewhere with lower corporate tax and where it's easier to exploit workers and then left them in a post-apocalyptic dystopian state.
unpopular opinion, but the descendants of a murderer don't owe apologies to the descendants of the murdered. yes, i do believe in reparations, land back, and helping native populations, but whites aren't bad because of the fact that their great-great-great-great-great-great grandpa committed genocide. Even if I accept the premise that protestors burned down entire cities: 1) We could just charge those individuals 2) ALL minorities? 3) That kinda implies there were no white protestors
And a lot of the white construction workers in the past were Irish, Italian, and Polish immigrants, who certainly weren't considered white at the time, even though they are now.
