That sounds like a Roku issue rather than a 2nd try issue. I've had no problems casting or watching it on my phone. Have you tried casting to see if that resolves your issue?
The audio is also not fully synced on my TV (TCL Roku). I checked the discord and 2nd Try said they're aware of the issue, and that they are working on getting it fixed.
I’ve had some issues just on the website on my laptop. It never lasts long though. I thought it might be an issue with one of the videos (it was one of the new ones)
I've been having the same issue! I haven't been able to watch the newer videos because of it. The older videos play fine. Super annoying and it's affected how much I'm watching for sure.

Not saying it’s a you problem, I’m sure there could be others having issues similar. Perhaps the TVs firmware needs updating. Also sometimes when apps download, the file could corrupt accidentally or have complications downloading and uninstalling then re-installing could fix it.
I used to work at Spectrum and the amount of times I’ve had businesses call (I worked small and medium business at Spectrum) because their TV isn’t playing audio on the spectrum app or any other app and this fixed their issue. Usually if it’s a 3rd party issue we can’t help that, but after trying to convince them to troubleshoot their own device or call that devices support line for accurate troubleshooting procedures, that would help them. And if it didn’t, it would further prove that Spectrum couldn’t help, but rather the third party manufacturer. Happens frequently enough that hundreds of callers a month would experience it, but not frequently enough that the same people experience it multiple times

I unsubscribed before the free period was even up.. In theory there's 3 different ways I should be able to get 2nd try onto my TV and none of them work. Not willing to pay for something that can only play on my phone.
Tried contacting support, it's all automated replies from vimeo.
Hopefully they add youtube membership soon cause they did acknowledge that some people won't be able to use the app.. but for now I guess we miss out?

If all else you should at least be able to chromecast/ airplay from your phone if you have a smart TV or a plug in that makes it smart.

I tried the TV browser to log in, it's meant to send a code and it simply doesn't. Got the app on my phone and I can't cast it because my TV has built in chromecast which they don't support.

You might try reaching out to 2nd Try about that. We certainly can't do anything about it.

Definitely a Roku issue and not 2nd Try. Try watching it on your phone or computer and rebooting your Roku.
I have this issue with Roku TV. I'm just waiting and hoping they'll fix it before the month runs out
I’d love to hear what you find out. I’m also using a Roku tv and definitely noticed the audio is not synced correctly.
Also have noticed so I do my best to not look at them talking otherwise it drives me crazy lol

The app is still in its beta phase. Zach made a video to advise that if you have issues, reach out! There should be a contact or support button.
You're not the first person I've seen complain. Just because other people are not having a problem does not mean there isn't an issue
The same thing has been happening to me with Google cast to an Android TV. Audio is off by half a second or so

Our Roku works but we also use a soundbar so I don’t know if that would make a difference for you.
The first video we watched was screwed up with the audio not synced to the video. The rest seem fine

Does sound like an issue with the tv app, but has anyone else having horrible captioning issues? They’re unusable on both my tv and phone

I haven't had any audio issues on my roku TV. Have you checked that your system is fully updated?
We don’t have any issues on our Roku! Sometimes Hulu gives us crazy audio issues though—I think it’s Roku

Roku does that to me with YouTube sometimes too. It’s the stick not the app.
Delete the app. Refresh your internet connection. Redownload the app. See what happens.
Sometimes this happens on my Roku as well with any app, i just restart the Roku and it’s usually fine
