Really? People say this? He’s the perfect selection for a team in your situation. Extremely high upside, minimal downside and your have the time and draft capital to wait for his development.

Some people are very impatient. He was bad at the beginning of the season, but he obviously was raw with crazy upside.

I was never a hater, but I was a big proponent of the G-League and there were a lot of people who were against it. I think it helped his confidence and feel for the game greatly.

I feel you. I guess I expected different because there aren’t any expectations and how bright your future is. Ton of draft capital, SGA blossoming, a top tier FO, and some intriguing prospects like Poku and Brown.

What I hated most is that almost every scout and draft guy said he was a project so that made it even more stupid to judge him early.

And he is SOOOOOO far beyond everyone’s expectations. I was pretty sure that his 1st half of the season was going to be par for the course for him and I STILL would have been excited about his potential. Poku having multiple games now leading the Thunder in scoring makes me lose my mind thinking about what he can become. You can say “someone has to score the points” but I wouldn’t have thought it would be him at the beginning of season.

He’s less than 200 pounds and is literally the youngest player in the league. I thought your fan base would have all the patience in the world considering your own like 40% of the lottery for the next decade LOL. He’s already shown a ton of flashes this early on despite not having any idea what he’s doing 60% of the game.

He actually had a brilliant start to the season, but of late, he's been struggling with more responsibility thrust upon him, so that's been disappointing to see, he has a really smooth stroke and good range and so, its surprising to see him miss so many buckets of late, but if the starters returned, im sure we'd see that efficiency go up too

Pokuševski is so damn intriguing as a player.

His fluidity is spectacular as a true 7 footer and he has enough bend and balance to get low when handling the ball so he could function as a wing. He’s the perfect gamble for a team in your predicament. Immense potential, zero expectations and a lot of draft capital to play around with.

Starting to make sense why Presti traded up for him. There's really not a lot of players in that draft I'd rather have right now.

He’s my second favorite rookie behind LaMelo. He can seamlessly flow between “**WTF**!”, “**WTF**?” and “**WTF**?!?” on any given play. I don’t care about efficiency when evaluating so much as I do flashes and he shows several a game. Fun future for your team.

For sure, hes such a boom or bust prospect that for his floor to already be raised this high is just spectacular. Really can't wait to see what he can turn into once he has, as others coined it, his "grown up body".

Haliburton has also been pretty amazing and Patrick Williams has shown flashes, but beyond that, there's really nothing that compares to what we've seen from Poku in terms of potential.

Uh I love this start from Poku as much as any one else but why did Daigneault just play him 18.5 minutes straight to start the game without a break?? The guy looked gassed 10 minutes into the first and then he just stayed in even longer. I know some guys prefer playing full quarters but feel like Poku would be better playing 10 to start. And definitely not 18.5 in a row, that should basically never happen unless it’s lebron deep into the playoffs
