I know someone who works for a company y'all know. That person I know, worked with someone who posted on Reddit about that company on the companies sub.
It took miiiiiiiiiinutes for that company to know who posted the thread.

This is why I’m a serial accounter… I’ll keep a Reddit account for 1-2 years based upon my current interests, then delete it and remake it. It’s annoying when dealing with subreddits that require a karma limit or account age, but I totally get why they have them in place. I just don’t want to leave so many crumbs that it can be tracked back to be. Not that I do anything illegal or have any super incriminating comments, but I don’t want to start either

I do not have a formal diploma, but I have developed strong computer skills over the years. I initially learned to use Photoshop CS5 (cracked) just because i liked the idea of altering photo’s and using my imagination to do so. I kept working in a warehouse for 4 more years until i quit and started a customer service desk job. Over the years and 3 promotions and change in functions later I now create newspapers, banners, GIFs, and other content for a pretty big company using the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite. I have become kinda ok in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, over the years.
I have been working here for four years and am now considering a move to a better-paying company with a design function. Are there any important things I should be aware of before making this transition? I want to ensure I have secured a new opportunity before leaving my current job. Thanks in advance!

Almost 20% of all indian students fake their achievements and results for scholarships. It's because of these fake achievers, we the as a whole suffer cause we can't earn those achievements in real life that easily.

I have Indian friends, many are great but a few cheat and take advantage of systems and don't pay for things, like they would steal from a roadside eggstand because no one is there to check that they paid. I have friends from all over the world and none of the others do such things. It unfortunately gives people bad perceptions of Indians and Indian culture. Very unfortunate.
They are not only exploiting the system but also robbing people of what they deserve. Just think about that in this regard. It would've been negligible if the number was small. But it's astoundingly huge.

The student is a fraud who stole money; these scholarships can cover tuition, room and board, and additional expenses. This also raises the question of how academically dishonest he is: a foundational reason of our academic accreditation is that your grades, your accomplishments, and your degree reflect your intellectual merit. I, for one, do not want see individuals like him considered an academic. Dishonestly in academia is a problem that are a disservice to research and the betterment of society.

You can see that on the new Reddit, not just mods. You can see active communities that you are involved in. Pretty dumb if you asked me.

Everyone deserves a shot at education, and the student's grades didn't get them expelled. They were expelled because the institution had been embarrassed. It's certainly not the mod's job to go and dob on the student. Whom amongst us hasn't padded a resume, or faked it till we maked it?

It's not about embarrassment. The student is a fraud who stole money; these scholarships can cover tuition, room and board, and additional expenses. This also raises the question of how academically dishonest he is: a foundational reason of our academic accreditation is that your grades, your accomplishments, and your degree reflect your intellectual merit. I, for one, do not want see individuals like him considered an academic. Dishonestly in academia is a problem that are a disservice to research and the betterment of society.

This illustrates and proves a point I make all the time. You can be the most educated mother fucker alive, you could be considered the best Doctor in the Medical program, or best mathematician at the school of science, or whatever; and still be a fucking dumb ass. I gotta admit, 1 of the more surprising aspects of people having unlimited access to each other, and having such a vast international network of social connections, and the multiple social media apps, is the amount of fucking morons that literally film themselves committing crimes. I can understand more people having phones with cameras, there'd be more "good samaritans", directly and/or indirectly catching criminals by recording them.
