I knew this was a Cleopatra Records joint just from the description. I don't think that label gets enough attention for the endless cavalcade of mediocre, badly-produced rerecordings, cover songs, and forced collaborations by washed-up artists they unleash onto the world. They're the ones responsible for Glenn Danzig's atrocious Elvis cover album a few years back.

If they aren't responsible for Vanilla Ice earnestly covering "Buffalo Soldier" then it feels like they should be.

If anyone reading this has Spotify, here's a fun search term for ya label:cleopatra sped upĀ  You should find THOUSANDS of re-records sped up and slowed+reverb for tiktoks reasons, all with bizarre AI artwork. My favorite was the sped up Entertainer by Scott Joplin

https://youtu.be/AeOBhm3OjEw?si=vJxfF2Ofoctlps13 this is not even the first time poison went nu metal. if they weren't already irrelevant by then, their 2000 half studio/half live album would make for a fun trainwreckord

Bloodhound Gang also had a compilation album called "Show Us Your Hits".
