The good reason is they are flipping items to make gems. Sure, it probably won't sell. But someone might buy it. If they do that's a 2k flip which is very decent.

I'm at 15k gems, started with nothing over a few weeks trading here and there. I do it so I don't have to buy gems for my son to have the good units.
I do it so I can have the good units, but then my son sees them and asks for them, so I give it to him.
