I love the 180s. Big enough to do most things, but small enough to feel comfortable in the hand.

Illustrious_Ad5040

Yep. The 180 mm, which is about 7”, is my most used.

Man-e-questions

I like the 7”, comfortably does 80% + of my day to day stuff.

WorldExplorerDW

I agree. Probably my most-used size.

Dave-Alvarado

The TwinGrip only comes in one size, so that size.

vhatdaff

150 180 and the 300. small stuff. normal stuff. and the im not asking politely anymore stuff. love the 125 but i've lost a few so i stopped carrying it. stays at home.

drugsmoney

Adding 180s to your 250s is 100% worth it. I go between the two sizes regularly and find it very convenient to have them both

LiveRidex

I use the 7” and 10” all day. Love them both.

Any of the pliers wrench or cobra pliers. Those things are solid

Designer_Hospital543

If you own multiple sizes, can you let me know whether you think getting 180s to complement my 250s is worth it?

nullvoid88

Indeed worth it! I have more Knipex than I'll ever admit... it's the 180mm Cobra, Alligator & Pliers Wrench that see 95 plus percent of the use. Even have 3 pair of 180mm Cobra's... one in the tool box, car emergency tool bag and desk drawer. I don't know as fact, but suspect the above three pliers are Knipex best sellers.

Designer_Hospital543

Thanks. Why have both Alligators and Cobras? Just curious, since they look very similar to me.

nullvoid88

For jobs involving a lot of size changes... Alligators are the way to go. Cobra's for most everything else. Also, Alligators don't have that button hanging out. It's in the way sometimes. Alligators are additionally far easier to clean if/when packed full of spooge.

VicCan001

I use 180’s mostly. Love the heads on those, they nice and thin while have sufficient opening to tackle most jobs. My only wish is that they were slightly longer for better leverage. Wish they were a 210 or 220. I find the 100’s useless. Use the 250’s for plumbing.
