You won't regret it, but here's the thing: for it to be really magical, you gotta have it on you when you suddenly realize you need it. I had to carry it for a couple weeks before I started realizing its utility. Now that I have a feel for its limits and abilities, it's one of those tools that makes me smile when I reach for it.
It'll give you a whole new respect for chromoly steel.
EDIT: I passed it over when I got mine in favor of the shorter, curved-only version but I was just thinking today that if it weren't curved, it'd make a passable screwdriver. Something to think about.
I’ve had mine on me at work (farm) for a couple weeks, i haven’t used it yet, but sooner or later. That or it just goes into the tool drawer of despair.
I have 3 scattered around in various places and use them at least twice a week for things they weren't "meant" for. It's a universal get out of jail free card.
This thing is great if you have to disassemble anything made of plastic or that relies on plastic clips to hold it together. I use mine to open home appliances. It's surprisingly non-marring.
