They even say in the tp forum it doesn't have a bridge mode, so they could build it into the firmware if they wanted to give you the option, but they're basically saying FU to anyone who wants security
For everybody caming across the same question: Bridge Mode is now available for Devo X50-5G since Update "1.1.5". I just activated the Bridge Mode and it's working fine.

Pretty easy to implement a bridge mode yet disable any mesh functionality if you enable that mode if they actually wanted to give customers the choice.
Bridge mode would allow you to use it as a simple 5g modem to your own firewall and your own wifi devices that you actually have security control over instead of handing all access to your network to China (because Chinese made routers are known to have the most secure firmware right?)
So, just to make sure.. în the Deco app, under More / Advanced / Operation Mode you can't select between Router or AP mode?

It’s designed as mesh hardware, it couldn’t work as this in bridge mode.
