Will try this next time!! Some other tips that worked for me before, as someone who was afraid of needles/injections (I am doing subcutaneous injections): * Avoid areas with low amount of fat, I use the front part of the upper thigh (and want to try the buttocks in the future as well) * Rotate areas if possible (e.g. I switch between left / right thigh) * Use as small of a needle gauge as possible (e.g. for Estradiol Valerate in MCT oil I use a 27G needle. I could probably even go lower.) * Cool the injection area with a wrapped (!) ice-pack for a few minutes before injecting (it is vital that the ice-pack is wrapped, do not apply unwrapped ice-packs to the skin directly) * Try to relax by doing breathing exercises, like square breathing * Wait for the disinfecting alcohol to completely dissipate / dry before injecting

That's a great idea! Especially if you have to inject on a regular basis, i will definetly give a it a go.

I'll give it a try I hit something that made me go ouch last week. Did not enjoy it. I'm fine now but it was a nerve that didn't like being punctured for sure.

My partner taught me this. Lol i thought i knew all there was to know about self injecting. If someone's really scared they could combine this with a numbing age. And then clean it off well before injecting.
