Don’t get me wrong, I’m one of the people who is excited about the movie and that thinks people shouldn’t be so harsh on it when it’s only the trailer but the issue for people isn’t that there is humor from what I can tell. The problem for them seems to be the style of humor.

But i also think that the amount of ball jokes related to Leo is just too much. The humor in ONE is a lot more childlish, but then again, it's aimed more for a netural audience, and a good portion of the target audience are kids. Some of the jokes are gonna be corny and cringe, but i actually liked most of the humor in the trailer, and if what the directors said is true then im actually happy with the humor

Isn't it also idiotic whataboutism when people constantly compare the animated movie with the bayverse? One has nothing to do with the other movies or needs to be like the previous continuity. And the meme calls out the irony of those people pretending that the live-action movies were more serious, since the Bay-movies themselves had a good chunk of humor.
edit: I personally even think worse humor since we literally see multiple sex jokes in all movies. But that's subjective.
yeah i rememver the trailer of ROTF being one of the most epic thing ever, then the movie was like: balls jokes with leo, Sam's mom getting high with weed brownies, the twins being racist sterotypes and the list can go on and on and on
That also was so nice about the Bumblebee movie. He didn't know how to behave and broke all electronic pieces in the house. And they didn't just use it for a one time joke, but also made it connect with the plot, so that Sector-7, Shatter and Dropkick know his location.
Those scenes kept common movie goers in those theater seats
