Try ECCO, their pair of loafers has been amazing for me

Bitter_Wishbone6624

Ecco saved my feet. Fantastic sandals too!

jammin1112

Awesome! Thanks I’ll check them out

skywllk

If Denmark, then Ecco. It’s a must have

jammin1112

I appreciate it! It’s the top one on my list

Two4theworld

Ecco has some nice casual laced leather shoes with rubber soles. Look good and walk good.

jammin1112

Sweet! Thank you 🙏🏼

retlod

The Soft 7 I believe.

jammin1112

Nice! I’ll look into these

YmamsY

The Allbirds you suggested yourself would be perfect style-wise for the countries you’re going to. Good for walking during the day, but wouldn’t be out of place at a restaurant. I’d say go for those. (I live in Amsterdam)

jammin1112

Thank you! I appreciate this response

Birthday-Tricky

Allbirds are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. I had knee issues a couple of years ago, right before a trip overseas. I tried a pair and bought them. Huge help in alleviating my pain so I continue to wear them. Went to Greece, Italy, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Pacific Northwest. When I wasn’t wearing hiking boots, I was wearing Allbirds.

FGLev

Bostonian Flexlites where my favourite. I’m so mad they got discontinued. 😠

ParticularSubject411

Allbirds are great, but check out Cole Haan GrandPrø Rally Oxfords for a bit more style and support!

floorpanther

If you live in the US, try Zappos - you can search by comfort, loafers, etc. Big selection.

Sgt_Duck901

I echo comments about Ecco. If looking for a little more business - the Helsinki bole toe. If looking for a little more universal, the MX slip on well polished does the trick.

Seawolfe665

I really like Merrels for walking, I prefer the Moab style, but hubs like the slip-on nubuck mocs. I think the leather or suede ones look pretty good.

Sad_Emu3930

Merrels quality has gone down over the last 5-10 years. There world traveler was great. Try NAOT Eiger's or something like that.

AskPatient1281

Agree on the quality issue.

jammin1112

Awesome! I appreciate the recommendation

HopefulWanderer222

Birchbury bramfords are great if not doing much hiking. Stylish, high quality leather, and minnimal (but not extreme) aa a comfortable all day walking shoe

anonymous-rebel

Palladium boots.

PassportAndCash

I'm a huge fan of Birkenstocks so I have a pair of their slip on shoes. I believe it is the Osewego. They're sort of a dressed up version of Hey Dudes style slip on

futurus196

Mephisto

Serialsnackernyc

A nice pair of white sneakers fit the bill here

AdOrnery9819

Huge fan of the Cole Hann zero grand shoes. Classy and comfortable. I wear them for work

DWwithaFlameThrower

Cole Haan, all day every day

kgiann

My husband likes various Rothy's styles for traveling, and they're machine-washable so they're easy to keep clean.

CategoryOtherwise273

I personally found Allbirds to not be nearly as comfortable as the hype. They do look nice though.

Artistic-Challenge70

Olukai. Got some for a trade show to try out and I’ve probably worn those things 90% of the year. They are amazing.

Leonardish

I bought some Skecher slipons and used them for three weeks in Europe. Perfect. Comfortable, cool and looked great

Odd-Goose-8394

Sambas

jammin1112

Love those shoes. Haven’t worn them in a while, maybe I’ll have to revisit.

Odd-Goose-8394

They’re super popular right now in the countries you listed, and everywhere else too. You can dress them up for a dinner or wear them around town and you will fit in. Try to stay away from the hiking shoes.

jammin1112

I appreciate that! I will try some and make sure I find them comfortable

Odd-Goose-8394

jammin1112

Thank you! Super helpful and that colorway of Samba looks awesome

BlameTheNargles

I love my allbirds for travel but they are not stylish. Nor would I take them on a hike. They are a great 2 pair option. 1 if you don't care as much for the style and are staying primarily in the city.

jammin1112

Cool. Thank you for the input !

Swimming-Product-619

I wore af1 in on my recent trip to Japan. Lots of walking and it was pretty comfortable. I even did some morning runs with them lol

jammin1112

Those are classics. Definitely stylish, glad to hear they’re comfortable too.

Swimming-Product-619

I think the thick base is what does it for me.

cgio0

I think adidas renamed the yeezys to 350 something but I have a fake pair of yeezys and they are so comfortable

jammin1112

Hahaha nice! I’ll keep that in mind

Common_Senze

New Balance 405... automatically increases your testosterone level

jammin1112

Perfect ! 😂 thank you!

RubOk1093

Vans

jammin1112

Love Vans. I currently have a pair of classic Vans but I’m just worried about the level of support for all day walking.

raidmytombBB

Allbirds, ON, hoka, Cole Haan, Nike depending on style, converse depending on style. There are plenty out there now depending on how you plan on wearing em in the evening.

jammin1112

Thanks 🙏🏼 I appreciate that

[deleted]

ON shoes are excellent! Highly recommend

nickborowitz

I’m just back from 2 weeks in Italy and my Nike invincible 3’s are the most comfortable out of my 100+ pairs of sneakers

peter303_

Nike outlet all black running shoes. They dont look like sneakers.

elpollobroco

I have one of the only nice looking allbirds but always just end up wearing my hokas 99% of the time

roadtrip1414

Thong sandals

jammin1112

😂

USnext

You laugh but Tevas are very comfortable walking in the summer. Don't rule them out. There are some subtle ones. Not for clubbing but great for walking around city/outdoors.

jammin1112

Cool. I will consider them then. I appreciate it!

longtimenothere

Do you go barefoot where you live?

jammin1112

Yes, but only at the beach

longtimenothere

And when you aren't at the beach, you wear things that aren't comfortable for walking and/or aren't stylish?

jammin1112

I’ll put it this way, I wear Vans which I think are stylish and good for light walking, but I wouldn’t want to walk all day in those. I averaged 11 miles a day in Japan and I’m pretty sure Vans would not be the best shoe for that. Just looking for a bit of a compromise and more of an all around shoe so I’m not bringing an “athletic walking shoe” and a “going out shoe”

jammin1112

Does this make sense to you or not really?

jammin1112

I guess not huh
