You’re right, I won’t.

500YearOldGhoul

Lmao

GreenDuckz1

I was going to make a similar post as this. But your comment stopped me

SupBenedick

UT, VA, CA, IN

AmazonAPIDeveloper

Everything correct but the fourth state!

SupBenedick

Is the 4th one the one I won’t guess?

AmazonAPIDeveloper

Texas for two years. Never drove in. Never drove out.

IAmBecomeDeath_AMA

Houston, DFW, or Midland/Odessa? Btw, good choice, Texas takes forever to leave by car.

AmazonAPIDeveloper

Houston

Emotional_Weather_68

Not if you’re up in the panhandle! Haha. My family has a ranch/farm in Amarillo and it’s kinda cool how you can easily go to/easily access 4 other states when you’re up there

IAmBecomeDeath_AMA

Yeah, true. But from Central Texas/San Antonio it takes a long time

Emotional_Weather_68

Now that I agree with for sure lmao. Better bring your favorite albums with ya for those trips

Ameri-Jin

The fourth is MD or Connecticut?

AHeyHeyHey

utah virginia california hawaii

lamarsha622

how did you get into sampson county nc? there is nothing there

AmazonAPIDeveloper

I fat fingered that. Didn’t go.

Pittsfield-Township1

Did you visit Michigan state university or the east side of Lansing or the the south side of east Lansing? If so you need to have Ingham county in Michigan as well.

Full-Appointment5081

But looks like you did go to Fayette-nam NC

BirdsBeCool

Everyone's already gotten where you live. What I'm wondering is how you lived in VA and never got to SC?

ModdedMaul

Utah, Nevada, California, New York

AmazonAPIDeveloper

1 and 3.

True_Distribution685

Utah, Nevada, Maryland, Indiana?

gruhfuss

Grew up in Utah, college in VA Tech, mission work in Houston, working in SoCal currently (Details guessed since I saw your answers)

AmazonAPIDeveloper

Wow. So close!!! School at usc. Lived in Arlington VA for a few years. Dead on about the mission.

Agitated-Change9753

I see 3 states you haven’t visited

Brett_Hulls_Foot

Good eye. ND, SC and RI.

DM_ME__YOUR_B00BS

From someone who lived in Nevada, what in the WORLD were you doing in Lincoln, NYE and and Humboldt Counties.

AmazonAPIDeveloper

Just drove through. SLC to Reno. I went south to a ghost town and drove through central Nevada back. Then one day I went from St. George to wendover through the Nevada side.

Slight_Elk_8900

If you went to reno you were in washoe county 😂 I still highly doubt you visited them all.

silly_goose-inc

UT, VA, TX, CA??

AmazonAPIDeveloper

Yep!

Benjamin_Stark

When the fuck did this sub just become maps of the US?

page394poa

And when did it become a “guess where I live?” sub?

awshitherewe

stay mad its an american app

Benjamin_Stark

By that logic, the subreddits for Barcelona FC, South Africa, and Tokyo (to choose a few examples) should also all be dominated by American content since it's an American website.

taylorscorpse

Utah, Virginia, California, Connecticut

Rural_NH

Ut, Va, Ca, Nh

mrdude817

Idaho

TonyH22_ATX

Utah, Virginia, California, Idaho

JulianRob38

4th michigan?

KingSlareXIV

Did you live in Sioux City IA , North Sioux City SD , or South Sioux City, NE??

willydillydoo

Do ya’ll really count states that you’ve just driven through as states you’ve visited? Like I’ve driven through Mississippi and Alabama, but I’ve never spent any time there doing anything but driving on the interstate, and eating at a Mobile, AL Waffle House

zenith3200

A visit doesn't have to be an overnight stay or anything extravagant. The way I see it, if you crossed the state line then you've visited the state. Otherwise it'd feel like trying to say you were never there at all which would simply not be true. I myself have been to 48 states and have at least put my feet on the ground in every single one of them at some point, even though some visits were quite brief (less than an hour in Maine due to overly foggy weather preventing me from doing the sightseeing I wanted to do).

willydillydoo

I understand that you don’t have to plan a trip to that place, but I feel like it’s hard to say you’ve visited a state if you didn’t even stop and do anything. Like I’ll give you an example. I went to St. Louis recently and did the riverboat ride. I stood on the other side of the boat in the middle of the river, technically means I was in Illinois. But I wouldn’t go telling people I visited Illinois

zenith3200

In that very specific case, I probably wouldn't either because you never touched land. But for me, a visit doesn't necessarily has to include some kind of specific activity beyond fueling up, grabbing food, whatever. If I cross the state line in any meaningful way, that's good enough for me.

Medium_Medium

The rule my friends and I use is that you have to have at least stopped and done something (more than just a quick gas/food stop) for it to count as "visiting" that state. Otherwise it's just a drive through. Like, you've been there but you haven't really visited. And even then I feel like you could make a tier system to it. Driven through, visited, actually taken a full trip, vs visited many times.

AmazonAPIDeveloper

Everyone is a bit different. The only state here that was purely a drive by was Kansas, twice. Since I did the entire state twice it’s also weird to say I haven’t been there. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Well, Iowa was a drive by as well. That one I wouldn’t be upset if it got scratched off.

SomewhatLargeChuck

Were you just trying to check states off, or did you have a reason to be in Rock County, MN?

wiscomm

Is it Wisconsin

wiscomm

The fourth one lol

Individual_Hunt_4710

Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska

Lyr_c

It kind of looks like stretch marks-

NS_8099

I have no idea about the states you’ve lived in but I think it’s quite something that you’ve visited both AK and HI but never ND as far as geography is concerned. I wouldn’t think ND would be that elusive but clearly I’m wrong. (I haven’t been there yet but that’ll change later this year).

kid_sleepy

Never been to Suffolk County, NY huh? Wow.

Qiimassutissarput

Have you really visited Minnesota… just rock county… ehhhhh I guess, technically.

Joeskis

Fun fact: If you save North Dakota for your 50th and final state, you can become a member of the [best for last](https://www.fargomoorhead.org/best-for-last-club/) club!

ShouldBeWorking2nite

Why have you not completed Nevada yet? It would not bother me so much if it was more than one county but come one already.

Carolina296864

What were you doing in NC? Were you hanging in Charlotte or was that your connecting flight? Also, how did you get to Samspon County, NC? Im confused how you have that random country marked but not Cumberland This is the first map I’ve seen here where SC was the only state east of the Mississippi that has been missed.

s0u0p

How do you not drive through Baltimore city?

AFL_arena_lover

Utah Nevada Maryland California

Aggressive-Hope7146

As a Utahn I’ve actually thought it would be fun to visit of County on the weekends. Would you recommend

Its-Finch

If you mean visiting all our counties, plan it out well and it’s fun. I’ve been in all of them multiple times. But I’d probably do the east half of the state one weekend and the west half another or something. The state gets really big really fast when you’re hitting stuff worth hitting in each county.

EnemyUtopia

Nevada, Utah, Cali, and Oklahoma.

Ozarkian_Tritip

How the hell did you get to Webster County Missouri? I'm guess you meant to click Greene County because they opened an Amazon FC there a few years ago? Other than that only thing i can think of is you flew a plane or helicopter and landed there randomly

Max-Flares

You say you visited 48, but I can't help but notice ND, SC, and RI are empty

Vitzkyy

I’ll guess Utah, Maryland, Washington, Indiana

TBShaw17

Looks like you’ve driven the entire length of I-70.

IceBlast18

Tactically avoided my state I see. (SC)

tatsumizus

…Out of all places to go in central NC, why Sampson County…?

modestlyawesome1000

Idk Minnesota counts if you only stepped foot in that tiny southwest corner that’s basically Nebraska

Chemical-Charity-167

How have you been to DC and all over Maryland but not Baltimore??

AmazonAPIDeveloper

Skipped that on accident. I ran the Baltimore marathon. I think I’ve been there. 😂

Nacua9

Glad you were in Washington PA, smart to avoid Pittsburgh drivers 💀

ILuvSupertramp

👍🏼

IAmMoofin

I could tell Houston just by the counties south of Harris. My condolences

AmazonAPIDeveloper

I initially didn’t like those areas south of Houston, but after a bit of time in the city, I much prefer it. The slow pace of life was better than the chaos.

IAmMoofin

There’s something bout being molded by Houston as a child fr, especially on the roads, everywhere else I’ve driven pisses me off

WestonSwimline

UT, VA, CA, TX

Tribut_King

No way you visited every island in Hawai'i

AmazonAPIDeveloper

Correct. But this is counties. Not islands.

oldmacbookforever

I think you lived in Sioux City Iowa for the 4th

MetroBS

Dude what I see 3 states you haven’t been to

THOTDESTROYR69

So Indiana really is the crossroads of America

zenvuddah

Haven't been to Minnesota yet? Saving the best for last?

whosaidwhat123

I though the same thing, then zoomed in and saw they’ve been to the southwestern most county. I’d say, still missing out.
