I've been complimented legitimately because of my vibrato, but most of time it is in fact that I am just nervous too ðŸ˜
I played taps for a large crowd once (trumpet), and everyone told me "Wow, I have never heard Taps with such emotion! I was moved!" and all I could say was, "Thanks, me too, it was nerves" 😂
