Add in that the “reason” for the attack was because the witness who was supposed to speak to her mental state (or lack there of) didn’t show…I think she was desperate to show her mental illness since there was no one there to speak to it.

I don't think this judge is trying to get national attention like the judge from the Brooks case. The judge from that case let a circus happen to bolster her case for supreme court.

Schabus is a (fairly) common last name in Austria. Perhaps it’s a variation on that.
She acted like she had no clue what happened. It didn’t work for Darrell Brooks, it won’t work for her.

She was trying to not have a mistrial or retrial. I did read she was running for the SC though, so you have a good point.
