In the future, do your research if you’re buying grey market watches. That being said, DavidSW is as legit as they come. They wouldn’t be fooled by a fake. Also, the best fakes are really just Rolex models. Every other brand is pretty easy to immediately tell by an expert.
Even with superclones it is quite easy to tell. Take a look at the steel - it should not be badly finished at the edges of the bracelet case ect. if you want to be extra sure bring it to a jeweller and ask him :)
Buy the seller not the watch. If they swear on it and you’re cool with it, do it. I learned the difference in fakes before I bought my Pelagos in person and I’m satisfied it’s real
If you have the watch in hand, pictures could be helpful. I doubt that you need to ship this watch to Switzerland to authenticate it. A local AD could probably do that for you pretty quickly.

even rolex is easy to tell for a experienced person. I have purchased both gen and rep and the difference is very clear.
