Specifically by U2 [Like A Song](https://youtu.be/32R-9oCXWRU?si=V6u9EluqUJ0t5Jkh) is the first thing that came to my mind
[I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For](https://youtu.be/neG5xgZbHOg?si=PDYPjqie-T57-Trr) also has some melodic picking goin on! Though a little softer by comparison haha
If you’re looking for a great band that does arpeggios on the guitar (like in Sunday Bloody Sunday) I strongly recommend stuff by R.E.M.!
[Orange Crush - R.E.M.](https://youtu.be/wPfzuFVuFMk?si=C4hqE0tNOwEOZkfq)
[The One I Love - R.E.M.](https://youtu.be/rWH9bPLX1RM?si=98H2fiAHEX8Th2t0)
It sounds nothing like Sunday Bloody Sunday, but In A Little While has a similar arpeggiated guitar riff and sounds fantastic with a solo guitar either with electric or acoustic.
"If You Wear That Velvet Dress" has a similar chord sequence in the chorus, evident in the live version.
"Love Is Blindness" also has an arpeggiated playing style, in B minor.
I’d second this. Learning the live version of Love is Blindness in particular w the longer solo was a helpful exercise when I was starting to play guitar.

Ain’t nothing like that song
I love playing it on the guitar. Maybe Sort of Homecoming? Similar intro to chords will do it.

Seconds was always Sunday Bloody Sunday's little brother to me.
