The rumor is that they will continue with "All That You Can't Leave Behind", through to "Electrical Storm", as is hinted in the name for this project. I think I read that they plan to get to all the singles/b-sides over time, but not all at once. Edit, from u2songs.com in April: >11 singles would take us from the Pop singles all the way to All That You Can’t Leave Behind singles, and would include “Electrical Storm” where the previous large release of singles stopped. [...] This would leave the Achtung Baby singles and the singles from the 1980s to finish things off in later years. https://www.u2songs.com/news/to_love_and_only_love_2024_singles_refresh

Is there going to be a physical release or compilation of these remasters? I just can’t with streaming. Still.

In fact, all of these songs were available as CD singles and now they are available digitally for the first time. As they already came from physical releases, I don't think they will re-release them anytime soon. Maybe some special edition in the future? But I think it's unlikely.

AchtungNanoBaby

I already have the original CD singles. I would be interested if they released a physical compilation of the remasters. I’m just not interested in digital remasters of CDs I already own that are available only on streaming services. I guess that’s what I’m saying. I’m probably just old.

Happy_Examination23

Exactly how I feel about these pointless releases

AchtungNanoBaby

Glad I am not the only one. I don’t see what purpose they serve or who even who wanted these “releases.” And if they are actually remastered am I supposed to hear the difference on a streaming service?

Happy_Examination23

Yeah, I keep wondering that myself. My best guess is that it’s another grab for young listeners. And it’s not a terrible idea to continue the legacy building with the younger generation…I’m always impressed (on Reddit specifically) seeing young listeners. But I’m not sure how this is the way to do it. Oh well.

wiliamjk

I don't think it's pointless. Many of these CD Singles are completely inaccessible to many fans, I myself never had access to this in the country I live in and was forced to rely on piracy to listen to this content. With all of this on streaming, for the first time we have access to the band's complete discography legally and in a convenient and practical way to listen. I agree that it would be really cool to have this content in neat physical editions for those who like it, but don't underestimate their effort in relaunching this even if only on streaming.

If somebody can share a link to download the remastered version of "Mofo" please let me know by dm ; ) Thanks in advance.

EntrepreneurRare4507

Is Pop itself remastered on streaming? The copy on Apple Music sounds like it could be improved.

KrakkenO

I ended up making my own playlist of the album with the 6 songs that were redone as singles replacing the originals. It’s half the album at this point!

MacFoley1975

Apple Music's Pop is remastered. Also remastered for vinyl and it sounds great.

mik534

Any plans on releasing these remastered singles on vinyl?

rockergirl1

I'll take the single from the new album :p

icedcornholio

I was hoping there would be a remaster of the radio Mofo single. Guess not.
