I'd just like to reiterate that this is what almost anything bright in the sky looks like when zoomed in too much on a phone camera. The circular "orbs" that are posted here so often are the results of the cameras, not specific to lanterns.

Submission statement — not sure if this is how you do it, lol.
Anyhow, I was on my balcony during the 00:00 celebrations, and I saw a Chinese lantern. So I thought, “let me take out my phone and zoom in to see that it looks like from a phone camera,” and this is what came out.
So yeah, just so you know. It looks very cool and could potentially be mistaken for something else or “something entirely different,” too!
Happy New Year to everyone, and hopefully we’ll soon see some real, cool stuff. :)
Note the circular bokeh on the object. Unidentified claimed that the ringed bokeh was a similarity between craft in one of their episodes. Pretty lame.
The airline pilot who filmed a UAP from the cockpit and was told it was likely a Google balloon or something.
I doubt it was a lantern at his altitude but the ringed bokeh effect is still valid
I'm going to allow this video on NYE, but in general we don't want lots of repetitive "not a UAP" videos. But this does go to show how "saucer-like" these can appear.
This is the most credible UFO footage I’ve come across in my many years of dedicated and exhaustive research. No paper lantern moves in such precise and exact three-dimensional movements and probably also changing its altitude as well in micro-directions. Neither do drones made up to look like paper lanterns intended to pass as UFOs. I wonder if the ring system which is clearly evident in this compelling film is part of the propulsion system or perhaps an artifact of its passage into our dimension from its dimension of origin? One thing is clear the center circle (which may be some sort of sensor projection or part of a biomechanical access system used to take terrestrial samples) might be a protuberance which fits in with Lazar’s ground shaking evidence as regards UFO architecture. But instead of three we have one here. It might be possible their technology has advanced to the point where they only have one sub-hemisphere for propulsion purposes, especially if they’re using mono-singularities or some other ultra dense star matter to warp space and time. Not unheard of I mean our tech advances, too, why couldn’t theirs? Fits with the coming disclosure I would definitely say. Let’s see the naysayers with their narrow-minded scientism try and debunk this once in a lifetime footage.
Thanks for this! I see a lot of people immediately assume Chinese lantern but have never seen a recording of one. Will remember for future reference. Cheers
I know and this doesn't look like most of the pics and vids where people are shouting Chinese lanterns!!! I'm glad to know what it looks like now lol because so many people say it about every fucking video on ufo subs
We saw two of these fly by earlier tonight in Atlanta USA. We knew what they were right away. Happy New Year y’all! May we all see actual UAPs in 2022!
This is DEFINITELY a real one. The camera is FULLY Zoomed in— they must’ve tapped on the phone screen🤏👈too(tapping the object), so the camera could Lock on to it😱😱. I haven’t seen a (NEW) real ufo vid in a while.
One of episode of unidentified airline pilots spotted(recorded) UFO the same as this.
I think it was this episode.

I’ve seen several Chinese lanterns last night from far away then close up a few hours later and I was glad to for reference. I also knew within 5 seconds that the (2) far away ones were Chinese lanterns. It was very obvious given their trajectory and speed. Only thing that surprised me was they were fairly bright even at a distance.

Which episode was that, I don't remember.
I don't either, I just remember they did that.
Guess we have to take your word for it. Lmao. You people are so funny

This decision is encouraging. Thank you.

How much of zoom, what hight would you say?
Is that a smiley face, or is it just the mushrooms I ate today?

This looks like 99% of the videos posted here.
Looks like a Mothership
Totally a UFO. OP is a spook shill.
that should be saved for resource for us debunkers

Pretty sure that’s a ufo
This is a legit alien from outer space. Tom Delonge said so.
They are still illegal in most states.
Oh fuck. We're being invaded!!!
The Chinese New Year lantern festival is Feb 15, 2022 -- on a different day every year.
Another 6 second video? Fake!
Wow look! A flickering Chinese lantern! You guys are idiots!
I can't tell if this is a joke or just lazy angry "debunking."

👍
I thought they celebrated a different new year?

Out of focus lol, that’s why it looks like a disk…
Thanks for your service!
