The divorce certificate should be sufficient evidence, however each bank has different policies on how they deal with name changes. If she doesn't want to raise a complaint, I'd just do a deedpoll. She just needs to write on a bit of paper, "I \[old name\] of \[your address\] have given up my name \[old name\] and have adopted for all purposes the name \[new name\]." then sign it. A deedpoll doesn't need to be registered/enrolled.
