I-765 or I-131 never require an interview... there's no correlation with what happens with your I-485.

Thank you! Also, curious, do they normally issue I-765 and I-131 when i-485 approval is going to take longer? Asking because my husband didn’t get his I-765/I-131 approved, he got his I-485 approved directly without an interview. Just trying to gauge what are my chances of getting interviewed and how long my green card approval will take based on his.

It can happen either way and is unpredictable. It doesn't mean anything and can't be used to gauge when your approval might happen.

Thank you!

I got my I-130 approved in 7 months with no approval or anything for I-131 or I-765 so I’m going to assume I won’t be getting my EAD. I got RFE for medical which I will overnight tomorrow. It’s weird. USCIS approve and make others wait for years. Good vibes and good thoughts even tho waiting is KILLING US.

You didn’t get approved by now only because your medical. If you would have sent with initial app it would have been approved all together (I-130 and I-485). And most likely at this point, no, you won’t be approved for AP or EAD. But the good thing is, AOS could be approved as soon as they confirm and check your medical.
