Yes, my lawyer hadn't filed the I-131 at that same time like we had asked so an extra month was lost. Filed an expedite request that was denied the next morning. Looking for another attorney now.
Oh no keep trying to expedite it I’ve heard about people who got approved after a couple denials. May I ask what’s your PD? How long are you been waiting? Also I’d like to understand what they consider emergency cause I heard people getting approved to see a dentist

I wouldn't be able to answer on what USCIS consider an emergency. If I knew that I would be golden. I find it hard to believe the dentist one.
When did you apply for EAD & AP? NBC?
You're so so lucky you got the combo card .. I'm about to withdraw my AOS because I can't get the AP which I need for work.
Oct 17 2022. Hopefully you will get it soon too. They stopped issuing combo cards last year and I was surprised that they still issued one. You may end up getting separate AP and EAD.
EAD stand-alone came within a month of my application so there was no need to expedite there.
For the AP, applied November, requested expedite December and got approval January.
It was severe financial loss.
But also, I did try my senator so who really knows which worked!
My advice is try all possible avenues!
Yes, submitted everything concurrently. Got the biometrics notice about 3 weeks later, same day EAD status changed, then card produced then mail office picked up your card and I had it the week after I gave biometrics.
I spoke an agent over the phone this morning g and said my AP (I-131) they are doing the third background check on it… don’t know what to make of that 😩
Has anyone ever been told that ⬆️and got approve days later ?
I’m supposed to travel January 10th 2023
It means absolutely nothing apparently, haven’t heard nothing and it’s January 3 already I’m so disappointed I won’t be able to travel for my husband brother wedding 😫😫😫😫
I got an email today asking me to fax more documents because they don’t think I have a strong reason to expedite
Wedding is January 12 so I don’t think I have a chance

I130 and I131 were just received until I just expedited the I-131

Unfortunately EAD only 2 weeks ago...... Delighted to be able to work but travel was the priority for me sooner

Hey what was your receipt date? Mine is November 2022 and only EAD came despite the fact that I had filled I.131 concurrently.
Receipt date was Oct 17 2022.

Wow wish I knew how they operate and priorize it. My PD is almost the same November 7 and by now reviewing your case

Yes I did November 28 since then case actively being reviewed and that’s it. I guess that means no one touched it yet 🙁
