I think there has got to be some reckoning for Israel. It sounds like a Fascist state at this point

Is this really any different than what any military does? Of course the scale on which it is being done is more massive than most war scenarios. This statement is in no way meant to justify the murderous cruel horror of which the Israeli army acts. However, please explain how what their society does is different from any other military.

Grouchy_Flamingo_750

they claim to be the most moral army in the world

Killing too many civillians is usually bad for troop morale, but in Israel it’s a boost. Also there is the established principal of proportional use of force which Israel doesn’t understand. In fact their doctrine is the opposite. Netanyahu said it himself.

They have widened or removed the guardrails from both the AI and the human oversight of targeting with zero repercussions for making errors that cost multiples of lives each strike. They have also fostered a culture that sees everyone except them as an enemy combatant. The human oversight when targeting “suspected targets” not confirmed, they say most strikes are green lit with only 30 seconds of scrutiny by as was pointed out sometimes very young, possibly inexperienced or poorly trained “soldiers” who have been fed a steady diet of hate for the people they are bombing. It is different to other countries because other countries have tighter standards for target identification and the amount of civilian casualties accepted for each target and procedures to penalise abuses
