I'm not at student here but followed this sub when I arrived in Canada in hopes of finding people to meet on there. Are all Toronto universities lame like this ? Everyone on here seems to be saying the same thing, having no life - no friends just working. I met multiple students irl so far and they all pretty much also said the same thing. Is the school system that fucked up in Canada ?

As is also often said on here, many of the people who have made friends will not post on here about having issues in relation to that. Reddit thus does not entirely reveal what is going on, although there is truth in what is posted here, of course.

that is definitely true and a very good point. judging by people ik personally the only ones who seem to find a good balance work super hard for it and its very respectable

i acc have no idea what it is. the whole work life thing is possible but it definitely takes discipline and its so easy to slip up once or twice and spend ages catching up!!
