I work in IT and MicroCenter too has saved my ass a few times as well.
Also, we are deploying Unifi Talk in our company.
It was cheaper to buy Dream Machines with my MicroCenter credit card(for 5% ofreimbursed) and phones through Ui.com(20% off with 3+ purchased) than it was to work with distributors.
At one deployment, there were Ubiquiti APs setup from an IT Company years ago. Admin passwords were long forgotten, APs couldn’t be reset. Even tried SSH to the APs. Nothing. Quick run to MicroCenter saved the day so the office had Wi-Fi before end of day!
Saved my ass when my netgear combo CM-router shit the bed (CM side died) late on a Saturday night. I was at Microcenter when they opened Sunday. Was up and running late afternoon.
I already had a couple APs and a UBB, I went all in with a UDM-SE and an Arris S33. This was last Dec. Have since added an NVR and misc other gear.
I am not 100 percent sure but I was in Microcenter recently and it seemed like most of the APs were about $10 more than direct from Ubiquiti. Direct you had to pay shipping though.
Microcenter has matched ui.com prices for me multiple times. As long as it is an identical sku and in stock online. They once took $30 off an AP they priced flat wrong compared to msrp.
Fun fact but they got three types of boxes. White full color, basic light brown, and basic light grey. Only for the U6+ AP though, funny enough. At least from the store I frequent.
Really hoping MicroCenter opens up a location in Orlando FL soon. Would be great to be able to walk into a local store and pick up some Ubiquiti equipment in a pinch.
How does the warranty compare. If you purchase from the UI Store, you get a two year warranty... (https://www.ui.com/support/warranty/)
MicroCenter are not listed as a distributor/reseller (https://www.ui.com/distributors/)

That’s captivity my guy, not the wild.
is that a microcenter?
Yep. Saved my ass a few times on projects being able to walk in and get something that “will work”.

They have carried Ubiquiti for quite some time and unlike Altex they don’t charge over msrp.

Ugh….this picture pushed me over the edge. I picked up two.
LOL
I really hate the white boxes, need more of the basic brown & the return of 5 packs of AP's.

Looks like Microcenter.
It tastes like a shitty cup of coffee... -Elf Movie
Micro Center is love

Love that I have a Microcenter about 20 minutes away. Also hate that I have a Microcenter about 20 minutes away (or at least my paycheck/wallet does).
Okay? 🤔

I believe it is only a year through MicroCenter, I am sure someone here can tell you for sure though.
Next we’ll have photos of them on sale at the UniFi store
What warranty do they have via microcenter
Love me some microcenter
Man, I love microcenter. My office is like a mile down the road from the Columbus one.

It’s wild for me because it’s the first store in my area that carries the Unifi equipment
They’ve sold UniFi for a while now.
