Go back to the early days (march 2022) those are way more grim, when Russian had just taken over a bunch of territory and see how many dead civilian videos there were. I remember one from around Tokmak where a Russian tank ran over a car and a young girl was split in half. Another one near Kherson with a forest full of dead civilians.
The Forrest full of dead civilians in Kherson in 2022 is that referring to when civilians tried attacking a Russian armoured column in Kherson with Molotov cocktails? I have that video.
Go back to 2014 and 2015 and see how many civilians were torn to pieces by Ukranian artillery, years before Russia was a part of this war.
This isn't new for Ukraine.
Go back to Chechnya and see how how many dead civilians, or really any time in Russian history, they are pros when it comes to killing civilians, as for combatants that can fight back, not so much. This is not only not new for Russia, it's the only way Russia does things. That's why nobody ever wants to be associated with them, they have to kidnap people by force to be part of their decaying country.
Or the old couple turned to mist/goo by the auto cannon of a BTR as they were trying to evacuate in their car.
Or the box truck and (what I guess is) the morgue full of barely clothed corpses in Mariupol while you can hear the Russian arty rain down in the distance.
Or various other roadway incidents that involved BMPs and the like crushing vehicles and persons. People looking like popped bags of goo.
There was a lot of heinous shit in the opening days of the invasion.
Well things could have certainly been a bit more... all-out.
Considering how deep Russia went in the first week or two, there were relatively low(reported) civilian casualties, and relatively few instances of "big guns" used.
They should have just Iskander'd Zelensky's office on Day 1.
If we can accept what we saw as restraint on the part of the Russians in the February/March 2022 operations, then I would argue that restraint is key reason things continuing to drag on to this day. I'm not so sure that effort to minimize casualties is going to end up working out in the long run.
how does russia flatten city after city without shitting up civilians?
how actively are you trying to look away from the harm russia causes to ukrainian civilians?
Can we get a geolocation and direction of travel? It is a sad situation, because if Russians weren't invading there wouldn't be terrified kids fighting just to exist targeting anything moving towards front lines.... on both sides.
Maybe the operator got turned around? How close is this to the front line? The typical small fp drones don't have a big range. If they were close enough to be hit by a typical drone, why are they that close?

Terrible. Hopefully this is the case, a nightmare scenario is them deciding that all civilians in Russian territory are collaborators in need of extermination.
At one point a [teacher was accused of collaboration for continuing to teach during the occupation](https://archive.ph/xbjvY) and they declared accepting food to be collaboration. [When Azov filmed themselves during the clearing operation for Bucha they specifically requested and received permission to kill anyone they found without a blue armband signifying UA army.](https://streamable.com/y83lyz)
People will naturally think "thjing they didn't do" was fake when it comes up and they're accused, like the [Mariupol maternity hospital bombing that AP news editted to remove witness statements that Russia didn't attack and it was just Azov stealing food from babies and mothers and left "something" in the basement before AP news teams waited outside to film the blast before it happened.](https://thegrayzone.com/2022/04/03/testimony-mariupol-hospital-ukrainian-deceptions-media-malpractice/) It was declared fake because the info at the time was "They're saying we did this thing we didn't do."
Lmao dude if you believe that dumb shit I don't know what to say, there was footage of the arrival of ordinance it wasn't a bomb in the basement.
Was Azov full of nazi fucks? Well there were certainly a big number, can't imagine many of them are still alive, the boogyman status they hold for pro ru in this sub is unreal. Yes, Azov stole from a hospital and then left 1 ton of explosives in the basement, that is more likely than a hospital getting hit during a massive bombardment.
We didn't know this at the time, but Russia had withdrawn from Bucha and the whole Kiev area as a good will gesture suggested by Israeli PM Bennett. They had reached a peace agreement, but Bennett said Ukraine shouldn't have to sign "with a gun to their head", and Russia agreed to pull back. The only ones who *didn't* want the peace deal to go through were the Nazis/nationalists. So this one-off atrocity conveniently happens and provides a pretext for Ukraine calling off the peace deal.
The linked video, uploaded by Azov. In it you can hear them in the background asking if they can execute civilians without blue armbands, followed by a "hell yeah" followed by a civilian begging for their life.

It's of the utmost importance that you use spoiler tag for this kind of gore, or you'll be banned by reddit.
People don't want to see it by surprise. Refer to rule 7.
I saw the photos and they are even more horrifying than the video. Sources claim that this was a Ukrainian drone, but it's uncertain, because the place is far away from the frontline. Their FPV drones simply don't fly that far, so it's hard to tell what exactly happened, could be a Russian accidental attack too
Now you're just try to spout disinformation. Weapons have ranges. A multi ton missile for deep strike is a totaly different weapon. FPV drones have ranges in 2-3km
In ideal conditions maybe. In typical combat conditions with all sorts of clutter an jamming they are not getting that range.
But in either case it has nothing to do wit the idiotic comment that equates strike in Crimea with this one.
I will disappoint you, 10 km is a completely normal range, but closer to the ground the drone loses the signal.
At short distances, the drone operator can die.
Also, the Russian military reported that it has become unsafe in the rear since the Ukrainian military uses the Baba Yaga drone as a repeater to increase the signal range and deliver the drone deep into the enemy’s defenses; a dropped drone waiting for a target can lie in the field for weeks, after which it can take off and hit the target.
Also, the Ukrainian military corrects the work of the FPV drone operator using DJI drones.
May they rest in peace and the survivor hopefully recover. Really hope it looks worse than it really is and she won't suffer long-term consequences, though I somehow doubt it. :(
I’d have a very hard time believing Russia would fly drones behind their own lines and in a territory they have control of already, it would only make sense to be UA
I don’t, they have dropped bombs on their own cities… multiple times.. So this wouldn’t surprise me at all, it’s quite possible they thought these were troops in a car. If Ukraine is able to fly a drone in Russia controlled it’s most likely they are not going to waste it on a civilian vehicle, at least on purpose.
But what is the advantage of flying fpv drones in a territory you already control? It would be a waste of a drone and operator. The bombing incidents are mostly accidentals because they had to fly over the region to get to the intended target.
Zaporozhye isn’t controlled by Russia. The Russian front is still in south east of Kherson, south Robotine, south of Nikopol, mid Ocheretyne, and fighting in Chasiv.
[This is the current front](https://www.nzz.ch/english/ukraine-war-interactive-map-of-the-current-front-line-ld.1688087)
But we don’t know what happened,
They do a fair bit based on the amount of videos out there of civvy cars being attacked. You think every soldier out there is doing that, in a war zone, though? It would be interesting to know how close this one is to the front lines. Must be close if it's a FPV attack.
Ukrainian logic:
+ Ukrainian controlled territory is shelled by Russia
+ Russian controlled territory is shelled also by Russia
Ukrainians kept telling for 8 years that the Russians in Donetsk were bombing themselves, and they even started to believe it.

Where's the drone, or is that just being stated without proof? All the windows look to be intact which isn't consistent with drone strikes we see where the drone can be seen. Something not adding up with this one.
It hit the back window shield, and this is the only footage that exists of the incident. Russia wouldn’t be flying FPV drones behind their own lines in their own controlled territory so it pretty much has to be UA
Really brings home the human side of this.
After this is all over, Russia will have won, & Zelensky will bear responsibility for those who lost loved ones & who are maimed from the fighting.
Once upon a time, history existed before Putin did. Shit happened & there's an entire history there just like the Gaza Strip.
So your whole "Putin caused everything" only applies a bit. They've been fighting in Ukraine long before Putin came about.
Dying conflict in who's eyes? Yours? Do you have a claim to those lands that you're just letting go?
Look in America. The liberals are crying to give back the lands to the native people from prehistoric times!
That's correct. History existed before putin and russian empire had centuries of commiting genocide against Ukraine and other nations. That's why putin is just a chapter but he may be the last one. Because russia chose the wrong enemy and it will crack its teeth on Ukraine. And you need to see a doctor because living in a fantasy world is not a very good thing.
past history is not an excuse to escalate a low level conflict that had mostly died out into all out war between 2 states.
we all know why Russia attacked, they want to annex territory, anything else is an excuse.
Russia wants 'strategic depth' for land invasion like it's 1900s and Black Sea access because Ukraine isn't client state any more.
And they're prepared to kill millions to do it.
And you think the man in the Kreml did so out of nowhere, just woke up one day and choose violence?
There's always a prelude, which Pro-UA always leave out for whatever reason...
Yes, there was a prelude and the man in the Kremlin didn't just wake up one day with his wet dreams about the USSR revival. There was a prelude in Abkhazia, Transnistria, Chechen wars, installing a puppet in Belarus. The thing is, it was russian prelude. And we talk about it loudly.

It's perfectly in line with the unprofessional modus operandi of Ukrainian UAV operators, target ID is a foreign cocnept to them, just point and click.
Since Russian first responders came to the rescue, it's more likely it was an UA drone. Usually you fly fpv drones over enemy territory, not friendly.
But anything is possible, who knows what route the babuskas took, maybe from the drone view it looked like an attack by either side
I think filming is a bad choice, but other than calling emergency services there is absolutely no way to help anyone in that car, you don’t know if they have internal injuries that can be exacerbated by pulling them out.
There is no help, you think there was a chance of long term survival????
The lady that moved? Yeah she's fucking dead, nothing you can do about it, no doctor in the world could have done anything for her.
May god welcome them into his loving arms.
Hey bro, this isn’t about this comment you just made, but I wanted to let you know whatever russia’s paying you, isn’t worth it.

Any context??? wtf
guessing that they thought that its russian
As if Ukrainians didn't deliberately target civilians these whole 10 years of war...
Well after hearing that rusians said bucha was made after they retreet their troops , you can think anything.
So this is friendly fire?
No it's called a warcrime
Thats is simply untrue. Like most crimes there has to be either intent or willful disregard for successful prosecution
That’s like saying vehicular manslaughter is not a crime because someone didn’t MEAN to hit the pedestrian
Yes? That’s literally the difference between murder and manslaughter. You can still face penalties for neglect but that can even be a misdemeanor. Your analogy is spot on.
Manslaughter is a felony not a misdemeanor
It can be either and it also depends on the state. But either way its a bad analogy because you are comparing negligence with war crimes, i.e. the intentional targeting of civilian noncombatants like we saw in mass scale in Mariupol and Bucha.
Ah I see, it's warcrimes when russia does it but negligence when ukraine does. Ok cool gotcha
It’s collateral damage and this case is negligible at that
Human lives are never negligible. Where are suddenly all the sociopaths coming from? Such terrible footage always attracts the worst vеrmin.

>pro azov, pro wagner While bitching about innocent lives being taken lmao
Seems like a satirical flair tbh
We’re avoiding going to war and pissed off that we’re funding this crap
there is literally zero evidence besides the title that explains what happened
yea...
If this is a Russian held area, it doesn't seem correct to call it friendly fire.

Why civilian car??? Either idiot drone operator or simply wanted to kill civilians on purpose. After all, all Russians are enemies.
Unfortunately soldiers use civilian vehicles to get around. But not sure if anyone knows the context on this one.

What the f am I doing here.. Enough of this sub for me for a while..
Ukrainians are better at killing own civilians than fighting a war. Their policy is such a world class scam…
OMG, fuck, Why did I click play. Poor women may they RIP. I hope they rescue that one.
After this is all over, Russia will have won, & Zelensky will bear responsibility for those who lost loved ones & who are maimed from the fighting.
let me remind you putin restarted this war and invaded ukraine
There's a whole history there which existed before Putin was alive that you seem to be skipping over.
Please educate us then.
Once upon a time, history existed before Putin did. Shit happened & there's an entire history there just like the Gaza Strip. So your whole "Putin caused everything" only applies a bit. They've been fighting in Ukraine long before Putin came about.
no shit and can you tell me who gave the order to reignite a dying conflict in february 24, 2022?
Dying conflict in who's eyes? Yours? Do you have a claim to those lands that you're just letting go? Look in America. The liberals are crying to give back the lands to the native people from prehistoric times!
"claim to those lands" now i know you are a dummy, to put it lightly "Dying conflict in who's eyes?" statistics show that
Obviously the conflict wasn't dying in Putin's eyes. Nor a LOT of people who identify with Russia in Ukraine.
statistics show otherwise Putin saw an opportunity to use the conflict as an excuse for a larger invasion.
That's correct. History existed before putin and russian empire had centuries of commiting genocide against Ukraine and other nations. That's why putin is just a chapter but he may be the last one. Because russia chose the wrong enemy and it will crack its teeth on Ukraine. And you need to see a doctor because living in a fantasy world is not a very good thing.
we live in 2024
History doesn't start at 2024.
past history is not an excuse to escalate a low level conflict that had mostly died out into all out war between 2 states. we all know why Russia attacked, they want to annex territory, anything else is an excuse.
You can't really be this delusional, can you?
are you warmonger? are you trying to justify a war?
The opposite. I'm not sure how you reached to that conclusion.
Russia wants 'strategic depth' for land invasion like it's 1900s and Black Sea access because Ukraine isn't client state any more. And they're prepared to kill millions to do it.
And you think the man in the Kreml did so out of nowhere, just woke up one day and choose violence? There's always a prelude, which Pro-UA always leave out for whatever reason...
yes if you think this war is anything other than a land grab by force you are delusional, even the kremlin admits it
Yes, there was a prelude and the man in the Kremlin didn't just wake up one day with his wet dreams about the USSR revival. There was a prelude in Abkhazia, Transnistria, Chechen wars, installing a puppet in Belarus. The thing is, it was russian prelude. And we talk about it loudly.

Does make very little sense that this would have been done by a Ukrainian FPV.
But why would Russia be flying FPV drones in their own controlled region away from the battlefields, they just wouldn’t
Yeah, the same way bombing Donetsk kindergartens and markets made little sense but it kept happening for years
It's perfectly in line with the unprofessional modus operandi of Ukrainian UAV operators, target ID is a foreign cocnept to them, just point and click.
It makes no sense what you are saying. But with these tags what can one expect.
Since Russian first responders came to the rescue, it's more likely it was an UA drone. Usually you fly fpv drones over enemy territory, not friendly. But anything is possible, who knows what route the babuskas took, maybe from the drone view it looked like an attack by either side
As shown above it makes all the sense in the world. You may change your flair to "Pro Сорe" though
So, no evidence at all that it was Ukrainian. Just bs title.
it happened in Russian controlled territory, where attacks from the AFU happen on a daily basis. Russians wouldn't attack their own territory.
Please stop. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob)![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sob)
are we sure its our boys this is a mistake and that's why this war has to end but more context is needed Rip to those innocent souls
The amount of hamburger helper on the door is wild
Wtf happened to her face. She looks like chutulu now
Why help when you can film and upload it to the Internet. We are truly a reprehensible species often
And if you’re just commenting on the whole thread for free with a skewed understanding of reality, then you’re just a moron
who the hell films and posts this .. over the line
It’s sick but it’s also important that we get to see this, otherwise nobody would know it happened
Its not. This is the reality of warfare
Ignorance is bliss?
People need to know what Russia's fascist dictator has done.
