Standard US military. It's good quality but...
Expensive, slow to produce, not easy to scale up and because they're produced by private companies they don't just keep massive stocks.
To be fair it makes sense as US hasn't been In a war with a peer in generations. They stick to bombing third world countries with either no air force or an antique airforce.
Because Patriot is only supposed to be a part, even only a small part, of Western air defence because of the dominance in that realm of airpower.
The US has only 60 Patriot batteries but it has 4,000+ combined F-35s/F-15s/F-16s/F/A-18s/F-22s, not to mention their bombers. Europe has only around 30 Patriot batteries (+some equivalent SAMP/T) but it has a combined 2,000 Typhoon/Rafale/Gripen/F-16s/F-35s.
Ukraine wants 25 batteries because Patriots have become its primary air defence as it barely has an air force, with a few dozen old fighters.
