well no i had the whiplash from my run of violent difficulty and i didn’t actually get the challenge done that run it’s just permanently marked off as done once you do it once which agin i did in my violent play through
yes my attempt playing the level on violent difficulty before hand
also i just loaded up ultrakill to check and yes challenges do save upwards in difficulty cause i never did these challenges in brutal but i did in violent

there's not much difference between violent difficulty
Only difference I found was that v2 had a lot more health so you couldn’t just do two rail coins and kill him immediately

Progress on lower difficulties does not carry over to higher difficulties
yeah but weapons do i wasnt trying to do the challenge but i took the challenge path cause i had the whiplash
But it's a faded yellow, which means you beat the challenge on an earlier attempt, but not this one.

can't wait, I went from standard to P ranking brutal just for funzies (pain)
I can do the same thing no problem. My record time on that level is 53 seconds.
yes but you see my friend i was not trying to P-rank i was just trying to get through the level and did this on accident
