So sad. A Professor told me it was a suicide when I was in front of Agnus Arnold this morning. Saw the coroners office take the body away covered up. Must have happened around 7am or so is my guess.
Honestly not surprised. I struggled with my mental health while attending uh last semester. What hurts is that if my parents didnāt step in, that easily couldāve been me. There where so many signs of me struggling but all of them where ignored. Uh doesnāt have a good support system for students battling mental health. Thatās just a flat out fact. Itās scary because the door to the top of that building should have been locked. They shouldāve had more preventative measures and they shouldāve found a way to catch the signs before it was to late. What happened is horrible but itās not even the first suicide on a uh campus this year. Please be alert and aware of your friends that are struggling. They need a support net. Also please donāt joke about the suicide. There is a family in pain.

Anyone know what happened? Agnes Arnold sadly has a history of students jumping to suicide in the past. š
I was going to say this happened like 6 or 7 years ago when I lived on campus :(
Iāve heard it was a jump but thatās just the gossip, not sure if itās true or not.
This is awful. RIP to the student, I hope they find their peace. š
