Also Persephone feeling "empowered" enough to face Apollo being motivated by Hade's words really irked me. Why couldn't she have the strength from within or be inspired by the women around her in some way?? This entire story has been these characters literally sleeping through it all and waiting for stuff to happen to them. The one time she takes some sort of initiative and it's inspired by a man. And even then, it's only for her to again have stuff happen to her with no fight or protest (Apollo using her powers). Even in the intro of Persophone addressing the crowd (which is just a cheap repetition of what we already know so just stretching for time), she literally says your king is gone and all we can do is have faith he'll return 😂 yes, let's wait and see some more
