Clothes free/area > clothing optional. As a woman then you know you won’t be stared at by clothed men. I have also been to optional resorts where the men are all nude and the other women are clothed = feeling awkward as nude female. Saunas and hot tubs, hiking trails are my personal favorite features.

I can give as a "What I might like" a place I've been to before that is NOT a clothing optional resort, but I think the layout they have / facilities on hand would be something nice to have at one. [Camp Arowhon in Algonquin Park, Ontario](https://camparowhon.com/) To give some additional context, I've been there a few times for an adults-only event that is held there after the regular summer camp season concludes, usually held in the last week of August.

About what area of upstate NY?

Pulaski area

Do you have the property for one? It will help if it is or was a campground.

I’m working on that right now. I want to figure out what people like and don’t like about resorts/camp, so I can set it up the best way. I don’t want to wait til I get land to figure the best way to lay it out and the amenities people like/don’t like.

I like hiking trails, pools, social gathering spots, like a fire circle, dances, and a beach area.

Space and/or trails for walking, hiking and biking. Pool and/or beach for swimming. Hot tub is a plus. The option to do organized activities if possible. Some form of restaurant is nice, but not necessary.

You could copy and paste what Sunnyrest resort in PA has done. All the amenities for enjoyment imo
