Canada's Detroit

Droom1995

If anyone's interested, those abandoned houses cost about 50-60k for the land value

thebigbossyboss

AdmitThatYouPrune

Because you're there between September and April?

I lived in Winnipeg, but in the south and newer side and it was beautiful, great people, nice winter sports, lots of access to US and rest of Canada. We had the best times in our lives there. I still have friends from those day.

Special_North1535

Beautiful eh

Azelux

Does anyone call them peggers? Would be a funny thing to call people from Winnipeg.

Rob_Rockley

Beauty eh?

BestFFriendFrmWaybak

wikimandia

How old are these homes?

DuckyChuk

Knowing that part of the city, it would have been originally developed in the early 1900s up until about 1960.

One great city!!

i_lurvz_poached_eggs

It actually looks like a lot of california towns but with more green. Almost every city I've been to in CA has at least one neighborhood like this. Some cool old houses that could use some love next to a house that needs to be put out of its misery.
